The chicken is out of sight!! A little touch of spice, a crispy coating and the chicken is moist. Fresh and made to order. Sides are yummy too. Giovani (sp?) the server was great. The cook came out and checked on everyone. A truly awesome place.

First time eating at Gus’s fried chicken I am seeing this right now. This food is the best fried chicken I have ever ever eaten. The service was Really really really good. Me and my family really liked it. chicken had a little spicy kicked to it like a spice limit five out of 10, but five stars in 10 out of 10 for me huge Compliment to the chef and our waitress our waitress was Jillian B Yeah, she was the best Waitress definitely be coming back I asked for a medium fries to go, and this is what they gave me definitely recommend for anybody who loves spicy fried chicken 10 out of 10 would be going back

So yes is this a place you need to come to for fried chicken and amazing food. The chicken was seasoned perfect 👌. The crispy outside of the chicken was just amazing, and being cooked so perfect with the juicy meat. The fried green tomatoes and okra was a great appetizer to get those taste buds going. Coloard greens is one of the sides and they truly aren't bad at all. Mac and cheese was cheesy enough and flavor for sure. The cole slaw complements the hint of spice from the chicken. I did enjoy the flavor of the bake beans as well. So this place is a must return when I can.

Visited Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken while in Mesa. The atmosphere has an old-school, laid-back vibe, and the service was friendly and good throughout the visit. Got lucky and grabbed a parking spot right in front, because parking here can definitely be a bit tricky. The fried chicken came out hot and crispy — really, what more can you ask for? The sides were solid as well, making for a fun overall meal. Overall, a fun experience with quality comfort food — definitely a spot I’ll be back to. Saluti.

Five stars for Gus’ Fried Chicken in Mesa, and that’s only because Google won’t let me give six. My wife ordered the thigh-and-leg plate with greens and slaw. I went with the breast-and-wing combo, also with greens and slaw. We’re mostly keto, so the white bread sat on the plate like a polite guest we weren’t going to acknowledge. Before the chicken even showed up, the fried green tomatoes came out and nearly stole the whole show. I’d come back just for those. My wife said her unsweetened tea was the best she’s had in years, and my IPA was cold, bold, and exactly what fried chicken wants as a sidekick. Jovani took care of us all night; attentive, friendly, and the kind of server who somehow appears right when you need something without ever interrupting a conversation. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Gus’, you’ve got us hooked.
