First time trying out Redbird. We wanted to do something nice today: we went to the theater but no good movies. We went to a couple of restaurants but it was either too long a wait, or too small. We happened to find this place by chance, and I really think the universe was telling us to try it here. Food is fantastic. The Elote Nachos were amazing, we added carne asada to ours. We also ordered wings — crispy, and juicy, the flavors are incredible. We had Al pastor and honey ginger soy. The burgers are just as incredible. We had the B.O.G. Burger. Add a bit of blue cheese! So good. We only ordered the one burger to share, and I’m glad we did because the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly, everyone takes pride in their work. The kitchen manager does a fantastic job. Our server, Damian, deserves a special shoutout. He was on point with his recommendations, and we got treated to a nice dessert! And at the end he brought us hot towels to clean our hands. Such a great little detail. Overall we loved this place. We were sad when we finished our food cause we wanted more. I am excited to come back here, and try the rest of the menu out. Oh - one last thing. Say hi to Eddie! He’s the manager, and super nice. Well, everyone is. 10 stars for it all if I could give it.

It’s hard to give a low rating to a place with such a high overall score. I visited Tucson with my family and came across this recommendation as a place to grab something to eat. Let’s start with the positives: The atmosphere and space are good for going with friends or family. The place is clean and has a nice environment for eating and having a conversation. The music and volume are appropriate. The service was very good, from the hostess to our waiter. Overall, there seems to be a positive work environment, which is reflected in the quality of service. Our waiter even recommended a couple of places to visit during our stay in the city. Prices are reasonable. I wouldn’t say it’s better than similar places though, but moving on to the negatives, the food quality does not match what you pay. And yes, the food was disappointing. My chicken tacos lacked flavor. The pico de gallo needed salt and spice, and the tortillas tasted artificial. My wife ordered a chicken burger, which looked great, but the chicken itself tasted bland, like it had been refrigerated for too long. For my son, we ordered from the kids’ menu, but the chicken breast was overcooked and tough. Overall, it’s not a place I would return to, as none of the dishes were good.

We stayed 2 nights in Tucson recently and the first dinner spot on our list was RedBird due to its popularity. Came on a Thursday at around 6:45 PM and they were very busy but we had a reservation so we got a table outside pretty much right away. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. I got a small order of the Mac n cheese with bacon and also got an order of 5 classic buffalo wings with ranch. Overall, it was pretty good! The wings were crispy and had a decent kick to them and the ranch on the side was good. The Mac n cheese honestly was kind of mid. It wasn’t very creamy and the pasta was kinda dry. It was still decent for a Mac though. We then got the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding as Dessert and that blew my mind! Super delish. Overall, still a good experience at RedBird. If you’re in Tucson, I’d still recommend a visit!

Service was fantastic from the moment walking in, everyone was so friendly. I got the grilled chicken sandwich added bacon, very delicious, a little messy. The chicken was juicy and well cooked, bacon crispy. The waffle fries and ranch may have been the best thing I ordered, crunchy outside, soft inside seasoned very well. Margarita was simple but delicious. Would like to return to try other items on the menu.

Lived up to the prior reviews. The wings (honey soy ginger, hot honey & classic buffalo)and burgers were the best I've had in Tucson! The mac and cheese was just ok. The bread pudding is also excellent, so save room! They also have a great touch of providing hot wet towels when you're done! Definitely will be back! Only negative was the waitress was not very attentive , and they weren't super busy.
