Had a reservation for Bavel since I've heard great things about it. We parked nearby on the hill to the bridge (FREE), could get a bit tricky but close enough to Bavel. Among arriving, we were immediately seated and had the choice of outdoors or indoors. Outdoors is a bit more for decorations and quieter ambiance vibes, while indoors is more aesthetically pleasing, louder, and has an open kitchen style. The ceiling is filled to leisure indoor customers. Super beautiful regardless of outdoors or indoors. Food is served via a ladder style category: appetizers, entrees, dessert. Our server was super friendly, professional, and even gave us recommendations that were fantastic. They were very attentive to our table and had wine preferences as well. Very professional. 1. The Chicken Liver Pate came out first and it's definitely aesthetically a nice start to the meal. It comes with bread/ toast and its certainly a must to mix it with the pate. The dish is underrated in a way where the mix is super addicting, super rich and melts in your mouth. This dish was recommended by our server as they said it was a must try and they weren't wrong. 2. Next, we got the grilled prawns ($35-$37) and it was plentiful for perhaps a duo, but since we were a group of four, it was only 1 piece per person + 1 extra. Despite the portions, the prawns were very flavorful, crunchy, and not salty. Not sure what the sauce is but it mixes well since it comes somewhat soaked in it already. If you love prawns, I would highly recommend. 3. The Pomegranate Glazed Oxtail came right after and my goodness I was enamored with how well this was made. It comes with a complementary bowl of flavored/seasoned rice which goes extremely well with the oxtail. The meat came off really easily, the bites were very satisfying, super savory, and once again, it just melts very easily. Super tasty and definitely a dish I would get again in the future. 4. Lastly, we got the Slow Roasted Lamb Neck Shawarma, this was also recommended to get as many customers get this as a gateway into Mediterranean food. As someone who loves "wrapped" foods, this was simply amazing, like the oxtail, the meat comes off really easily, and is super rich in flavor. Mixing this with the rice that came with the oxtail worked wonders as well. Highly recommend giving this dish a try as it's super tasty! Plus points for being a shareable dish. Bavel is certainly on my list to come back many times in the future and for special occasions as well, staff is great and the restaurant is the definition of QUALITY food. Amazing, 10/10.

Best dining out experience I've had in a long time, top to bottom. Everything was delicious, the vibe was great, prices were fair, and service fantastic. We got 4 vegetarian appetizer, 2 non alcoholic drinks and a dessert. Every single item easy 10/10. Cant go wrong with this spot. Highly recommend.

Besides the food, always being impeccable and precise and just the most beautiful flavors you'll ever have, the staff and SERVICE here is excellent. From the hostess Fiona to our crew that served us Mitchell, Jackie, and Andrew, we had the best time ever. Can't wait to come back

The scene is lively, especially on the inside in the beautifully designed restaurant. We were a table of four and shared everything. Their specialty drinks were our favorite. The staff seemed a little off but all and all a great night out. Make reservations, specify inside or out.

The food was so delicious and the flavors were well balanced and quite smooth! We ordered the following and loved them all: Chicken liver paté Oyster mushroom kebab - so juicy and was done so well Grilled prawns - extremely flavorful and liked yogurt too Malawach Wagyu beef cheek tagine - so tender Baked Alaska - refreshing take on it! Also had beautiful interior and the staff were so great with accomodating food allergies
