The place is spacious with many tables. There are seating outside the restaurant as well. Came here for a late lunch with a friend. There was no line, however, the two workers at the front just ignored us while they were busy working behind the counter. We waited for about 10 mins before someone acknowledged us and asked if we were ready to order. Not good customer service to begin with. We ordered the Grilled Chicken plate (with chimichurrii sauce) and the Roasted Barramundi Seabass plate. The grilled chicken is moist and the chimichurri sauce is very good. For the harrisa lime cauliflower, it's a bit too salty and too much lime. The roasted brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze is pretty good. My friend said the roasted barramundi seabass is good but the rainbow carrots and golden beets side dish is greasy. It's pretty pricey for the portion size. For adding a side of protein to a salad (that doesn't come with any protein) such as grilled chicken, it's another $10 that is very expensive. The price you pay is like eating at a full service restaurant.

Valeria was super sweet in helping us with what to order! We just had an amazing meal at Urban Plates. I love coming here especially the Santana Row location. They make you feel like you’re at home. The food came out super quick and it tasted so healthy! Highly recommend for a post workout meal.

Here’s a clean food review/caption version you could post: ⸻ Tried Urban Plates while out in California and it definitely lived up to the hype. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service. Followed Austin’s recommendation and the meal was a hit from start to finish. 🥩 Chimichurri steak cooked perfectly 🍟 Truffle fries were fire 🥔 Roasted potatoes had amazing flavor 🥗 Salad was fresh and actually a solid alternative to fries 🥤 Dragon fruit juice was refreshing and different in a good way Overall experience was smooth, food came out looking and tasting quality, and the service made it even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. 🔥

Nothing special, OK for a fast meal. Concept mix of fast food , regular and buffet restaurant. It’s above fast food. You order at the counter, pick up your own utensils and someone brings over your food, a busser cleans up afterwards. Fish , meat and vegetarian choices. You mix and match your meal. The food is OK. I had the Maroccan bowl which is mostly rice and chicken . The food arrived very fast ( kitchen buffet). There are some half boots and tables and you can sit outside. There is a paid membership which gives 20% discount.

Urban Plates has a good ambiance and is right beside the main Santana Row, which gives it a lively vibe outside. The waiters were professional and friendly, making the experience smooth. The food was decent—I’d rate it around 7/10. It’s a bit on the expensive side, and even the drinks were pricey and not great. Good food presentation though. Overall, a nice spot to grab a meal with a pleasant atmosphere and good energy around.
