Had a reservation this evening for an anniversary dinner, and I am so pleased we chose to celebrate it at Boulon. The restaurant is beautiful, lots of natural light, clean elegant design and tables. Food was incredible. For appetizers we ordered the pain maison (salted butter was good quality), and pork belly confit. Our main dishes were the sea bass and duck confit, with a shared side of haricot verts. We ended our evening with crème brûlée and chocolate torte. We were stuffed!! But very satisfied. I also must compliment the incredible staff, including our very kind waiter Tyler. I’ve never seen such quality service outside of a Michelin star restaurant! Plates were cleared quickly, new silverware was supplied for each course, we were checked on multiple times, and we were offered a complementary glass of bubbly for our celebration. Thank you all so much for making our special day even more elevated! We will definitely be back!

Our dinner at Boulon Brasserie and Bakery was exceptional from start to finish. We began with the oysters and charcuterie board, both of which were fresh, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start the evening. The charcuterie board featured a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments that paired perfectly together. For our entrées, we enjoyed the scallop risotto and the Red Snapper Amandine. The scallops were perfectly seared and tender, and the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The snapper was cooked flawlessly and complemented by a delicious sauce that let the freshness of the fish shine through. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and showcased the kitchen’s attention to detail. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet comfortable, and the service was attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our meal. Boulon delivered a dining experience that exceeded our expectations, and it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of Tampa’s top restaurants. We can’t wait to return on our next visit to Tampa. Highly recommended!

Classy and chic French bistro in downtown Tampa. Menu offers classic and modern French cuisine, extensive wine list, and one of the best burgers in town. Service is very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Food comes out hot and fresh, no long wait either. Seating inside extends to a large sidewalk patio. Enjoy your meal under and umbrella with a cold drink and watch the buzzing downtown!

Boulon never fails to impress, food, service or atmosphere! What is amazing is the consistency - dinner or brunch, quality and service is always spot on! We have eaten here many times, and had many of the items on the menu - all have been excellent. For our main dish this visit we had the sea bass and mussels. Preparation was perfect -seasoning and temp when served. Our server Alysa was one of the best - while we never had bad service at Boulon in the years we have been going, she is definitely one of the best! She was very attentive, very friendly and made sure everything was up to par. While we don’t currently live in the area, Boulon is on our list when in the area. Highly recommend Boulon and ask for Alysa as your server.

Here’s the thing. The storefront and entrance are very beautiful, busy, happening, and nice. The service and staff are chic and well-dressed, but overall I was not as impressed with the quality of the food. The duck confit, which I did get, was good but a little tougher and didn’t come out at the right temperature. Everything was just OK, packed up in a really nice package. The smash burger and fries were OK as well. It was a good experience but I don’t think the price tag is worth it.
