Our neighbors and friends have been recommending Marcel for years, so we finally decided to try it for a date night last month (11/15). Unfortunately, the experience was very underwhelming. We arrived for our 5:00 PM reservation and were seated promptly, which we appreciated. However, the seating was extremely tight, and we were placed next to a young couple who talked loudly and drank throughout the evening. The overall atmosphere felt loud, crowded, and surprisingly casual—not intimate or refined, which was disappointing given Marcel’s reputation and price point. As for the food, the veal parmesan was dry. When I mentioned this to our server, he noted that extra sauce could have been provided—which, frankly, should have been done automatically. Extra sauce was included in our to-go bag, and when we tried the dish again at home, it didn’t change our opinion. It was average at best and lacked the quality we expected. The steak was good, but not exceptional. The Salad Marcel was a miss for me—far too much celery, to the point that it overwhelmed the dish entirely. The sides were also very average. On a positive note, the desserts and cocktails were enjoyable. Overall, we’ve had far better dining experiences elsewhere. For the price, we expected something memorable, especially for a date night. We value our time and experiences together, and this visit simply fell flat.

What a great night! Everyone here was professional and eager to answer all of the questions that we had. They were able to make any modifications or substitutions that we needed to the menu as well. The only thing that I didn't like is that they were out of lamb but we did kind of come towards the end of the night so definitely understandable and no reason to take a star away. The food was PERFECT! This was my first time having caviar and they made it a wonderful experience. There was so much food and well worth the money. Thank you Marcel for making the night one to remember.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-quality meal and great service!

The food was incredible! I had the Escargot, Raw Oysters, stone Crab Claws and the Porterhouse Steak for two! Everything was cooked and made toward perfection. The atmosphere was very Jazzy with beautiful dim lighting ✨️ Now that's my new go to....bring a heavy wallet 🤑

Welp @fordfry has done it again! This was the best burger I have ever had!!!!! PERIOD!. The aged beef was so delicious it melts in your mouth. I've never enjoyed a burger so much that did have lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. This is a must try take my word for it. You will not be mad you spent $40 trust me! The bone marrow was ok but nt bad. I also really enjoyed the bread service as well. Loved the atmosphere as well.It was very elegant and upscale. The fries are very plentiful and loved the Béarnaise sauce. Overall I give everything a 10/10!!! Definitely coming back to try a steak! Thanks for having me Marcel!!!!
