The Exchange will always hold a special place in my heart, considering our July 2025 wedding was held inside this beautiful, ornate space, filled with family and friends who we love the most! The Exchange was the first venue my husband and I looked at, and off the bat we knew this was "The One!" The Director of Sales, Alyssa Abudayyeh was professional, communicative, and engaging from the start, and without her, the full experience would not have been as top notch. From the tasting, to the planning of the seating with our hefty guest count, and my larger than life visions for the day of, the team at The Exchange executed a 10/10 experience. Every room was beaming with smiling guests, mouth watering food (especially the bread!) and signature espresso martinis that are still the talk of the town. I can't brag enough about The Exchange, and I know brides and grooms to come will have a delightful experience, as well! We were even featured in Modern Luxury Chicago Wedding Spring 2026 Edition!

We recently hosted our daughter's Quinceañera at The Exchange downtown Chicago, and we are absolutely thrilled with our experience. From start to finish, the venue provided an unparalleled level of elegance and meticulous attention to detail that truly stunned us. The historic and architecturally spectacular setting of The Exchange, located in Daniel Burnham's Railway Exchange building on Michigan Avenue, provided the perfect backdrop for such a significant celebration. The event spaces were beautifully utilized, and every aspect of the decor and ambiance was flawless. We cannot praise the staff enough. The team of event professionals at The Exchange demonstrated exceptional service and a genuine passion for making our daughter's special day unforgettable. Their expertise and dedication were evident in every detail, ensuring everything ran smoothly and beautifully. They truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. The culinary offerings were also outstanding, and our guests were thoroughly impressed. Stopped by for lunch on my way to the airport and the guy who greeted me at the bar was great. He suggested I sit in the courtyard and glad I did, it's absolutely stunning. I wasn't in a hurry, so I enjoyed the servers not being overbearing and pushy for me to leave. The vegan curry I had was pretty good. I enjoy more spices and a bit more flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and overall the meal was very high quality.

A reasonably priced nice night out in the loop right by the symphony and the art Institute. We had a large group for dinner and pretty much everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The tofu bowl was simple but tasted fresh and well seasoned.

Beautiful space for a date night. Especially before a show at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The food and drinks were amazing, and the portions were great. The pork chop was one of the best we’ve had, and the apple cheese cake was 🤌🏻 Only downside was that the person who served us took our table from the server who greeted us when we first sat down. Unfortunately, after taking our first drink order/apps she took a long time to check on us to keep the flow of our dinner going. I had to wave her down to get our check so we could leave to get to our show on time, despite letting her know at the start of our meal that we would be going to the symphony. We wish we would’ve had our initial server the entire time as he seemed to be more on top of things.
