Dustin Vaughn 6 months agoI’ve been wanting to come here for years. The last 5 trips haven’t been the right group/reason to come here. Worth the wait is an understatement! The tasting menu was our plan coming in, but after looking at prices and what was featured, we decided on à la carte. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Beer Tartar, insane. Best I’ve had. Gnocchi with Crab and Truffle… so well balanced! See out pictures. Staff was amazing and environment is upscale, but not stuffy. Coming back in 48 hours to try the venison.
Lucie Wong 3 months agoWe were visiting from Washington, DC to celebrate our anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet our expectations. The food was just okay overall. Several dishes were a bit too salty, and my husband’s duck lacked depth of flavor. Given the restaurant’s reputation, we expected a higher level of quality. Service was prompt, but not very attentive. When ordering, I mentioned that dessert was the most important part of my meal. However, I only took two bites of my hummingbird cheesecake—the flavors were off, with an overwhelming banana ice cream taste, and the pineapple cheesecake itself had an unpleasant texture. What disappointed me most was that when the server saw my nearly untouched dessert, he didn’t say a word. At other high-end, Michelin-starred restaurants, staff usually check in or offer a replacement in situations like this. In the end, they gave me a $12 discount for the dessert, but honestly, I would have rather paid full price and enjoyed something worth eating—especially since dessert was meant to be the highlight of my meal. If you’re looking for a great culinary experience, I would skip this place. There are plenty of better options in this city.
Taylor Nguyen a month agoVery well deserved Michelin restaurant. We went here for Easter lunch and got the 3 course menu and everything was full of flavor and texture. The gnocchi and fried oysters were absolutely satisfying. The highlight was the Easter egg mango dessert. This was one of the best desserts I have ever tried and did not want to share!
Nancy M a month agoWell.....to say I had a great meal would be an understatement. Stopped here last Thursday for my husbands 40th bday dinner while visiting in New Orleans. Where we had an EXCEPTIONAL meal. By far one of the greatest meals we've had. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted and seated with polite and warm smiles. The staff and chefs went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience and they delivered! Each staff member that approached our table, wishing my husband a happy birthday to small birthday treat at the end of our meals, made it a better experience. One thing we cannot describe is the food! It is not to be spoiled but to be experience by these amazing chefs. To the staff and and chefs, Thank You.. We'll be making the trip from NY to visit again!
saBEE 2 months agoWhat an extraordinary dining experience we had at August! Last minute selection with a quick call to the restaurant to see if we could dine at the bar got us there. The bar / lounge area is beautiful. Service was friendly and professional - as busy as they were behind the bar. The Amuse bouche was a wonder - delicious and really got us thinking about the amount of effort and care that would be needed to use eggshells to serve in. We decided to go with a 'surf & turf' - Wagyu Beef Tartare and Snapper Pontchartrain. Truly incredible dishes. Really enjoyed the unique dishes and experiences here. Would highly recommend it to all!
