The food is delicious! First time I’ve ever dared to try stuffed oysters and the shrimp stuffed oysters were incredible - we ordered three rounds. The bread loaf was a little underwhelming in comparison, but the trout dip and crackers tasted delicious and crawfish appetizer as well. A majority of our table ordered the shrimp and grits since it’s a staple down here and it was well received. The red beans and rice were yummy but the fried chicken and honey on top really sealed the deal on that dish! Beautifully light space inside, with decent service (our meal did take quite some time and we came at the tail end of the lunch so I wouldn’t come here in a hurry).

Came here for the Oyster Happy Hour. The Oyster variety is excellent and fresh. I also like the big $1.5 each Gulf Oyster. We ended ordering three rounds! So delish! 😋😋 Followed up with beet salad then the escargot/bone marrow combo. My fav was the pate rabbit n chicken liver dish. Mix them up with all condiments and that was as good as foie gras

I was visiting New Orleans and met a friend for dinner at this very classy restaurant. Our servers were top notch and made us feel super welcome. I had the shrimp and grits which were delicious. My friend had the steak frites which were good but slightly under cooked. He didn't want to say anything but I'm sure the staff would have fixed it if he asked. Either way, he enjoyed them. The atmosphere was very calm and upscale. I would definitely go back again on another visit.

Had a variety of oysters, the Leidenheimer loaf, the smoked trout dip, blue corn and crab bisque, and the pork schnitzel. All of the food was good, but I felt the value was all over the board. The oysters were fairly priced, as was the trout dip which was a generous portion. Service was adequate. I expect more attention to detail when dining in this type of restaurant. When we run out of accoutrements before the dish has been finished, we should be offered more. I do not mind team service, however, I think too much was overlooked because of it. The ambience is loud. Unfortunately, we were seated near the kitchen, and when it's a full house, it's challenging to hear each other.

My husband and I decided to check out Luke while on a quick trip to Nola. It was busy but thankfully I made a reservation. Even with a reservation we waited about 10 minutes but we did arrive around 15 minutes early. Not bad considering how busy they were. We were seated in the back and able to watch the kitchen work. The place was lively and had quite the crowd. Our server Wendy was awesome. She was knowledgeable about the menu and never let our drinks get past half full. For starters we had the shrimp stuffed oysters. The grilled lemon really added a great burst of flavor with the seafood. The crawfish and corn bisque was different. I've never had corn in a crawfish bisque. It was good though. We had the Leidenheimer loaf to soak up the delicious soup. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. My husband had the chargrilled gulf swordfish. It was citrus-y. The flavor was good but could've been better in my opinion. I had the jumbo shrimp and grits. They were delicious! The best I've ever had. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. They weren't chewy or rubbery. The roasted jalapeno cheese grits were so good. The cheese pull was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. They weren't gritty like some grits can be. My husband claimed he didn't like shrimp and grits. After trying this he is a believer. Highly recommend this dish. For dessert we chose the butterscotch creme brulee. It came with a cookie and toasted coconut whipped cream which added a bright note to the creme brulee and make it different. The caramelized sugar had a thick crust. It was satisfying to break the shell and dig in. I still think about it. Again, my husband never had a good creme brulee until now. We each had a cappuccino to end our dinner. We will most definitely be back and will ask for Wendy again. She made the experience great. I'm still thinking about the shrimp and grits 🤤
