Luxury Chaos a month ago

Monday’s was easily one of my favorite food stops in New Orleans. The sweet potato beignets were honestly the best dessert I’ve ever had. The catfish & grits were phenomenal too — perfectly seasoned, crispy, crunchy and fresh. Everything came out hot and flavorful. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. It actually started raining during our visit and the staff immediately sprang into action to make sure everyone was accommodated indoors comfortably. The transition was smooth and the whole restaurant was handled really well. Great food and great hospitality all around.

Monday Restaurant & Bar is definitely one of our go-to spots whenever we’re in New Orleans. Parking can be a little hectic if you don’t arrive early, and it’s not the easiest area to find a convenient spot. We arrived around 10:40 AM for their 11:00 AM opening, and unfortunately it started raining while everyone was waiting outside the barricade gate. I was a bit disappointed that guests weren’t allowed to wait under the tent until opening time, although I can understand that it may have made it difficult to keep track of who arrived first. Once the doors opened, everything improved quickly. We had the same waiter we’ve had during our previous two visits, and once again he was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Service was incredibly fast after we were seated, which was impressive considering how popular this place is. The Memorial Day holiday drink specials were delicious, and all of our food came out hot and fresh. We also ordered the sweet potato beignets & the boudin egg rolls, and they were absolutely excellent, definitely a must-try. We have 3 orders of the egg rolls. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience before opening, the great food, fast service, and consistent experience keep us coming back. If you’re visiting New Orleans, Monday Restaurant & Bar is well worth adding to your list.

We loved our experience at Monday. From the hostess to our waitress, Jasmine - everyone was very friendly. Jasmine offered some of the best service and hospitality I've observed in a long time. Once ordered, everything came out quickly. It was fresh and hot. The cocktails were delicious. I had a salmon burger that was pretty good. It could have used a tad less pepper but that's my only critique. The other member of my party had thr beet salad that she enjoyed overall. Those sweet potato beignets... save room for them!!! Wish I got pics of the other food. But we were hungry and not messing around!

Had an amazing experience tonight! Jasmine was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish and went a step ahead with superb accuracy. The food was great, service was fast, and she had such a positive attitude the entire time. Definitely 5-star service — thank you, Jasmine! Y’all better request her as your server!

It was so good we went back the next day! Our waitress, Lexie, was phenomenal! Super kind and extremely attentive. Bbq crab claws & sweet potato beignets (a must try) were DELICIOUS.
