My visit to this Nepali restaurant was pleasantly satisfying. The highlight was the starters: Selroti and the Mula ko achar stood out—flavorful and memorable. We ordered additional appetizers; the food came fairly quickly, and the flavors were genuinely good. What stood out more than anything was how the dishes looked. The mutton thali set was not only delicious but also presented in a unique, beautiful way, which I loved. The momo platter was decent, rounding out the meal nicely. All in all, the food, presentation, and atmosphere made for a genuinely enjoyable outing. A great place to revisit.

The Nepali food we enjoyed was absolutely delicious and deeply satisfying. Each dish was rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and clearly prepared with care and authenticity. From the comforting warmth of the curries to the perfectly balanced seasonings, every bite was a delight. The meal felt both hearty and soulful, leaving us truly savouring the experience rather than just eating. It was a wonderful introduction to the depth and richness of Nepali cuisine, and one we thoroughly enjoyed and would happily return to again.

We had a great first visit to Royal Nepal, and we will be back! Everything we tried was delicious. I was unsure if I should get the lamb momo because I have had momo in the past that I havent been super impressed by, but I'm so glad we did because it was my favorite dish we enjoyed! We had some spectacular juices, two delicious small plates, garlic naan, and the aloo cauliflower. Everything was so flavorful, and our servers were so nice. They were very busy when we came in because they were serving a large party, but our food came out quickly and the service was attentive. We were in a little bit of a rush and had a little trouble getting our check, but I got the vibe that it's not normally an issue. We can't wait to return with our friends!

This place will be a local secret for a year before the overall traction of the awesomeness becomes wide spread. Get yourself some momo and explore the tastes of Nepal in this warm and friendly environment. From the excellent authentic food to real table clothes this place excellence at blending an American style bar and grill vibe without losing the soul of the Nepal food culture. I would be a regular if I live in the area. Considering they have wild boar and water buffalo options in combination with more contemporary dishes like butter chicken that comes from local farms, you’ll have lively experience here. They had a bit of light flickering situation from lamps that they will need fix but that’s all in the growing pains of a new restaurant. If you like Indian food or wish Indian food had pork or beef options, this places is a must try.

We keep returning to try new menu items. It looks like Arlington is figuring out that this food is authentic, fresh, delicious and creative. They plate the food in a way that makes you excited when they bring it to the table. I love the small bowls with dips and servings of black eyed peas and marinated picked radishes called Mula ko Achar. Try the duck fried rice with their nice serving of sautéed spinach. The eggplant masala does not disappoint, served piping hot and lightly spicy. I gave them 4 stars on service as the family members seem to be just learning to serve and are a bit timid. With big brother in the kitchen and siblings doing the serving, they are getting better each time we go. And we will be back.
