I stopped here for breakfast this morning while staying at The Kimpton Harper. It has a great atmosphere and vibe to it, even at 6:30am. I was greeted by Janelle, who was also my server. She was amazing as she literally ran the entire front of the house, and efficiently and friendly I might add. My breakfast came out quickly and was delicious! Also, they may have the best cup of coffee that I’ve ever had!

Our last stop in Fort Worth was Il Modo, a beautiful Italian restaurant downtown. We were visiting from NYC for a short getaway with the family, and it also happened to be our 18th anniversary so I wanted something that felt special. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The lighting, the music, and the friendly staff made it feel like the perfect spot to celebrate. We started with fresh octopus that melted in your mouth. For the main course, I had the homemade pasta carbonara perfectly cooked and full of flavor while my wife enjoyed the salmon that was absolutely delicious. While my daughter loved the fresh-made pizza. Dessert was the highlight: a classic cream brulee that was light, smooth, and just the right touch of sweet. Our waitress Cherokee, was exceptional attentive, kind, and made us all feel right at home. It was one of those meals you don’t just eat, you remember. Il Modo gave us the perfect ending to our trip and a wonderful way to celebrate 18 years together as a family.

First time here - loved it. My wife and ate dinner at il Modo ahead of a concert at Bass Performance Hall. We had a reservation and arrive about 5 pm on a Friday. We got seated right away. Our server, Patrick was quite pleasant and helpful. We ordered cocktails then dinner as follows: Cocktails - Amalfi Spritz, non-alcoholic - Woodford Old Fashioned Dinner (we split all of this) - Warm Sourdough bread loaf with a plate of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar - Dinner Salad - Rigatoni Bolognese - Meatballs side with Marinara Dessert - Coffee - Cannoli (complimentary as birthday gift) Not only would we eat here again, we just made reservations for 16-Nov. We’ll ask for Patrick as well.

Husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. Great service and the food was delicious. The octopus was too notch, that was my favorite! Decently priced as well.

I reserved for 2 and walked across the street from the Hilton. Greeted and sat right away with an awesome server and delicious fresh scratch kitchen food. The dessert was superb. The bread was perfect! See pics.
