Toro Toro in Fort Worth delivered an outstanding dining experience. The service was impeccable, the food was truly best-in-class, and the atmosphere made the entire evening feel special and energetic. Our table ordered a variety of dishes and everything impressed. The mezcalita and margarita were excellent to start. For appetizers, the sweet corn empanadas and the burrata with tomato salad were fresh and flavorful. The 32 oz tomahawk was perfectly cooked and easily the centerpiece of the meal. The pork belly mac and cheese was rich and indulgent, the crispy Brussels sprouts were done just right, and the tres leches dessert was a perfect finish. Overall, a fantastic spot for a fun night out with exceptional food and service. Highly recommended.

Situated in a hotel, this restaurant is a lot of fun. There was live music when we dined. Service was incredible. Good was really good. It was a little loud but that should be expected with the restaurant being in a hotel. Overall it was a very good dining experience. Highly recommended. By the way, a popular TV show has been filmed here a few times!

*** Review is specifically regarding Xmas Brunch. *** Vibe & Atmosphere The restaurant is located inside of an upscale hotel. The vibe is relaxed. Food * Yellow Tail Tuna Maracuya - onions and pico adorn this item a and give it a little spice that's very delish. * Bison Tiradito - a sauce added a very nice flavor to the meat. * Chipotle Devil Eggs - the addition of chipotle took these over the top with the perfect blend of spices. A piece of bacon on top was the icing on this cake. * Smoke Wagyu Picahna - meat was very tender and grilled to perfection. * Beef Anticuchos - these had a small kick of spice to them. Wonderful! * Marinated Prime Rib - disappointing. Meat was very dry and bland. * Pork Belly Arepas - these had a tiny bit of egg and bacon on top. The bottoms of these were also crispy and flavorful. * Churro French Toast - very sweet and our perception of what French Toast cake should be. * Honey Cheesecake - a little bland, not very sweet. ---------- * Mercado Margarita - the perfect mix of tequila and jalapenos to build a spicy and enjoyable drink. * Merlot Red Wine - the Merlot was identical to a bottle we bought in Napa. A very strong wine flavor dominated the glass. Service Service was in-line with this price point. Our greeter was Alicia and she created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The first waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu selections. He asked the right questions to narrow down a recommendation that turned out to be perfect. Price & Value The meal was advertised at $95/person. While we understand the above-average prices for our drinks, we were disappointed in the food quality and selection, especially at this price point. We were also unaware that gratuity is included, by default, and billed at approximately 28%. Final Verdict Toro Toro might be suitable for dinner, or other non-holiday meals. We'll not return for a holiday meal.

A rediscovered favorite! Latin flair within a Cowtown vibes. Everything we tried had its own character, offsetting flavors which sets us apart from the usual steakhouse. The staff was excellent, engaging and warm. Dessert…..best tres leches yet! P.S. don’t judge the appetizer pic..too yummy to wait.

Date night and I should’ve went somewhere else. This place is in a hotel so it’s a little small. The male host in front was great at his job but that’s where the service ended. I must mention the lady that served us at the lounge while we waited for or table do good. We were there for about 10 mins and she served us a drink and checked on us once. Yet, the actual waitress for the restaurant was horrible. She took 20 mins to run my card front the lounge bill and 2 mins to run it for the food bill. $45 for the first and $300 for the second. You can see why. We waited an hour for our food and it was room temperature. She checked on use 3 times the entire wait and meal. Once to take our order. Again to give us a knife for the food before it came and then lastly to take the check. We had the Churrasco and the ribeye was mostly gristle. The rest was decent minus the temp. Funny thing is the couple behind us was doing a bad review on them in the middle of there meal because of the same type of service. The food was mid and nothing to rave about. For the cost of this visit I believe they could’ve done better with food quality and definitely way better with service. Won’t be returning though.
