Second time coming with my wife and trying the tasting menu. This place is better the second time around. It is amazing. I always considered myself a meat eater/lover. This place really taught me that cooking vegetables at the highest tier can beat any steak. It’s like tasting flavors you never know existed. Everything is fresh, tangy, sour, sweet, salty, umami, and zesty. You can really pin point each flavor with ease. I am excited to come back and see what new art is created. The staff works like a well oiled machine; a lot of finesse. Also, very picky wife approves of everything and said it’s her favorite restaurant. Picture: you fancy huh . Dessert: Herb ice, passion fruit crème, and mango sorbet. Best Cocktail I’ve ever had (I’ve been to the top rated bar in the country) I’ll leave it at that.

After having Birch on my “want to try” list for months, my partner and I decided to give it a try. We ended up doing the tasting menu and were left somewhat disappointed. Not sure if we ended up coming on an off night or something but the pacing was incredibly off. We ended up waiting between 15-20 minutes for our first entree to come out and our focaccia pairing was almost completely forgotten. The flavors were okay for everything, the steak and walleye were the standout stars of the night. Wine selection is impressive and delicious. Overall, I think I was just left expecting more. Portion sizes are small, flavors are good but nothing extraordinary. Nice atmosphere for date night, will try again in a few months.

We chose Birch to celebrate a bachelorette. From from the atmosphere to the service, everything was excellent and so much attention was given to detail. We went with the tasting course, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was an ability to accommodate for being vegetarian. Overall a magical experience and would love to go back.

Came for the burger, and got some excellent appetizers and service as well. Burger was simple and delicious. They nailed a medium for smash patties. Thr secret sauce blended with it just raw onions and cheese with it. Got the farm vegetables with carrot miso dip and grilled cabbage with ham hock broth. All the servers were nice and the bartender was extremely helpful in explaining everything.

Maybe I should’ve selected the tasting menu, though I wanted to eat a lot, and Rachel was very personable, and I just so happened to receive a very unexpected smile from someone who I looked up to in high school before my dinner began who I hadn’t thought of in more than a decade. - My visit started well! I wanted to experience the quality of more larger-sized dishes - which I did - though I simply didn’t gain the appreciation for “the experience as a whole” that I was hoping to. But, I give the dinner 5 stars out of respect and impartiality, as there was nothing significant about the food, service, or atmosphere that I would evaluate as anything less than “5-stars”. I was psyched that Birch recently received a spot on USA Today’s Best Restaurants, and objectively, it is well deserved, though I wish I could say that I actually enjoyed the taste of all the items I selected. - This is a subjective opinion. Thank you to the owner and the chef for coming over to check on me! Cheers to your success, and keep up the great work!
