Came here on a Friday night around 6pm for dinner, there were three of us, one child. The street was busy, full of older adults, drinking so we thought it would be hard to get a table, but it was very easy. They have a catcher machine in here, I got one, didn’t win. They start you with free bacon grease popcorn, it was tasty, you can for sure taste the bacon! The staff were efficient, quick, nice. I got a German beer, and a soda water, my partner did as well. My kiddo got a lemonade. For appetizers we got the pretzel sticks, and the curds with marinara and ranch. So good! Both were well seasoned and delicious. For meals, I got the chicken Caesar salad wrap, with fries. It was good, creamy, and I had crispy chicken replace the grilled. The fries were good. My partner got the Cajun Mac and cheese with chicken and the waitress suggested a side of fries, he said it was very good. My child got the pepperoni pizza, they have a 12inch pizza and it was enjoyed! Definitely recommend for dinner when you’re about to go to a show or if you’re in the area!

Holy. Cannoli. This place was amazing. We have tried Wisconsin Cheese Curds at every restaurant we have eaten at while we are here, and these were BY FAR the best. We kept trying things and saying oh that's the best, no THAT'S the best.... It is all fantastic!! Our waitress, Bianca, was great! Very attentive and helpful!!

We were excited to try this place after looking at their extensive menu online. Instead we were disappointed to find their actual menu to be less than half of what it shows online - no fish fry, no chipotle chicken avocado, no pulled bacon, no bacon potato salad. I finally settled on a regular boring chicken sandwich. Though they couldn't make a chipotle chicken sandwich, they did have chipotle mayo that I was able to slather on my very dry chicken. But that also cost me $0.75 extra. Another shocker for me was no free refill on my diet coke! I was charged for 2 drinks. I wish I could say the server was at least apologetic and friendly but no, he was quite the opposite. I asked for silverware and he grabbed some from a table behind us and kinda just threw it down. He did not seem very happy being there. He didnt tell me about any of the "extra" charges either. The only thing nice I enjoyed was the atmosphere. It wasn't too busy for 6PM dinner crowd and the decor was awesome. Also must have their bacon fat popcorn. So maybe stop in for a drink and popcorn. Otherwise, with so many other food options on this same street, I recommend you go elsewhere.

We hosted our wedding at the Oak Barrel and it was wonderful! The in house coordinator Mackenzie was incredible, attentive and made sure that our event went perfectly. She made sure that everything was taken care of, getting our slide show on the TVs, customizing the bar lights, providing linens and tealights for the tables, and even sourcing the flowers for our center pieces. Reid was so kind and helpful during our set up - helping us move tables and chairs out so we would have room to mingle and dance. Making friendly conversation and making sure we liked how everything was looking. We catered through them and the food was reasonably priced and delicious! The staff was attentive to asking sure the food got restocked as well. Our bartenders were friendly and fast with making tasty cocktails. We loved that the whole thing was really customizable to what we were looking for and for our budget. We had a wonderful wedding and would recommend Oak Barrel to anyone looking to host an event!

Been here a few times and always had a great experience, but my girlfriend and I just had an outstanding one. Our food was good, but it was our server and the bartenders who really stood out. They were extremely attentive to us and our needs, ensuring we had a great meal and drinks. David the bartender showed us some of their new cocktails coming out, and went into depth on each one for us, visit made our day!
