First time visit. My Uber passenger from Phoenix to Tucson recommended this place for lunch. After taking my seat on the patio I waited nearly five minutes unattended before the hostess Reagan saved me from almost leaving. She's a beautiful sweetheart. I'm glad I stayed. The chipotle glazed salmon was absolutely perfectly divine. The beans, rice, chips & queso were delicious also. The Agave rocks margarita was also excellent- stout with just enough sweetness. I had a second. 😁 The atmosphere is clean and modern- very stylish modern southern decor. My only suggestion is a bit more attentive service urgency. I'm pretty patient and calm overall; but other guests are not so much. Great lunch experience overall. I'll be back for future visits to Tucson.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This place is 100 times better than it looks! With the bar and tv screens I did not have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing. The vegetarian black beans were the best I have ever had. I had the Baja fish tacos, loved them. The guacamole was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, not kidding. I highly recommend this place!

Great job by Alexa and her staff making a couple of cycle-tourists feel welcome. Terrific hand-crafted cocktails from Jillian and Hannah - try the Oaxacan Old Fashioned. Delicious tuna negra, enchiladas and rancho asada. The vibe was "sports bar fun", not "out-of-control frat party", even when the U of A tournament game was on.

What a great find during our visit to the University of Arizona! After touring the beautiful campus (and I highly recommend checking out the tree ring lab if you haven’t already), we took a stroll through downtown Tucson before heading back to our hotel. After browsing a few shops, we were ready for a bite, and we’re so glad we stumbled upon Agave House. This isn’t your typical Mexican food. It’s a step up, with unique flavors and an upscale twist that made it stand out. We sat at a bar-style table on the outdoor patio, which was the perfect spot for people-watching while enjoying our meal. The food was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making a stop at Agave House. You won’t be disappointed!

I've had a lot of salsa in my lifetime, and Agave House has the best salsas I've ever had! They were full of unique flavors you can't get anywhere else. I also had the best Quesabirria I've ever had too. Full of flavor in every bite. Staff was super nice too. The drinks are a little pricey, but very delicious.
