Outstanding staff, great drinks, loved the oysters plate! Delicious!!! Met the owner, really nice and down to earth. Came out with friends and family and made us feel like home. If you're visiting Oakland, this is a spot you shouldn't miss.

What a fun place especially for happy hour. Came here on a Tuesday and had their taco special. They have a great cocktail menu as well. What also caught our eye were the oysters.

Really nice, attentive staff. Monday night oysters were fresh and delicious. Had 12 raw and 12 broiled. The broiled oysters had a savory finish. Loved the Hibiscus Agua Fresca with cinnamon accent. We will be back for more!

I hate that I am leaving this review, but a sad downfall has taken place. LowBar used to be possibly the best burger in the entire bay area, but it has fell off the cliff to barely average. This legit was an amazing burger that you would talk about for days, but now it is not even worth ordering. Sadly, on my last and final visit I ordered two extra patties but the server only ringed in 1. When asked where the other patty was he said well I have to charge you $3 per patty so I only gave you one. Who is this person to make that decision for me? Is he my financial adviser? I was also the only one in his section he asked for a credit card from before putting in an order. Just plain rude. But the missing patty was not the problem!!! The burger just is not good anymore! But hey for $22 you can have the smallest oysters on the planet. I used to love Low bar but I will never eat here ever again.

Came here after work for an early dinner. I shared the Low bar nachos with my friend and both of us liked it well enough. We liked the topping to chip ratio but lots of the toppings were very wet so the chips got soggy quickly. I got the pink flag cocktail and was happy that they put what glass it would be served in on the menu. The salt and pepper wings were crisp but a little too salty. My friend got the breaded fish tacos and she liked them but they came with a sauce that was very spicy
