The chairs next to the fireplace are the spot on a rainy day - cozy and warm. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs, which came with a side salad. It was very filling and well-balanced. ***No WiFi *** so plan accordingly. Bring a hotspot if you need to work, or take it as an opportunity to unplug and just enjoy the space. Overall, a great place to slow down, especially when the weather calls for something warm and relaxed.

Fun spot next to the St. Regis San Francisco! Perfect place for lunch or a casual dinner. The Reuben sandwich lived up to its reputation, one of the best I’ve ever eaten and we spend a lot of time in NYC! Well done chef! I could seriously eat that every day! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, an overall wonderful dining experience!

The best atmosphere for a coffee date, The Grove is both lively and relaxing thanks to the fireplace and comfortable furniture. Unfortunately there are very few vegan food options and I was disappointed to learn later that even the chai mix contains a milk derivative which makes it not vegan. 😣 I am happy that they serve Grand Coffees and they're one of the few coffee shops in the area that's open on the weekends so I'll likely go again but would love more vegan choices!

I was a regular at the Grove when living in San Francisco and specifically when there were several locations before the lockdown. My favorites were located on Hayes and in the designer's district. Only this one at Yerba Buena now remains. I still like the food (not cheap) and they offer a very tasty GF bread. However, I asked for only one instead of two poached eggs with the avocado toast and was told: "it will be the same price"! "Yes, ok I understand" . However I suggested to comp me the bread since I had to pay extra for the GF bread (which I never understood why most restaurants charge extra for GF bread in the first place; it is not that much more expensive than regular bread). The cashier: "Well, I can't; I would need to have a manager do it." And is it that difficult to call a manager to ask? My thought, that I didn't bother to express because at that point, I was annoyed, especially after learning that the orange juice was more than $9.00. I declined to add the juice to my order!! My tip was not as generous as usual! The weather was beautiful so eating outside was nice.

Excellent vibe. Was here during SB weekend so it was busy. You place your order first and then find seating. Plenty of space and you have the option of inside or outside dining. The servers find you by the number they give you when you placed your order. Food was excellent. The Mac & cheese was especially good. There are several servers walking around if you want to order another beverage or need anything. As soon as you are done there's someone cleaning the table and boom...next party is sitting down. Oh they have a bar so I'm guessing you can just get a seat there if available. Thia place gets the Mr. National seal of approval
