We visited House of Tiffins on a Saturday morning and had a decent experience. Paid street parking is available nearby. When we arrived, there were instructions at the entrance to ring the bell to the food hall if it was locked, this was helpful. The food hall and the restrooms (which require a code to enter) were clean. Note, we were the only customers there at this time. We used the screens available near the House of Tiffins Counter to order millet idlis and benne masala dosa - the wait time was short. The food itself was good. The sambhar was warm and delicious, and the green coconut and red tomato chutneys paired alright without being spicy. The millet idlis were heart-shaped (cute touch!) and wholesome while the benne dosa was crispy on the edges and I could taste that it was made with ghee. Overall, a lovely, low-key spot for a South Indian breakfast. 😊

We had the idli sambar, paneer benne dosa, and masala dosa. The prices were affordable, and the portion sizes were generous. The only complaint was that the chutneys were served ice cold, which took away slightly from the experience. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy a tasty South Indian breakfast in the morning, offering good value for money and satisfying portions.

Excellent taste. We tried the Millet button Idly, Benne Masala Dosa and Mysore Masala. We also tried Idiyappam and kurma. Beach sundal is also super tasty and a must try if you visit in the evening. The staff here are friendly. The food hall itself might get crowded and not very clean sometimes.

House of Tiffins catered at a party we organized and was a big a hit! Everyone appreciated the taste of different items on the menu they tried. Working with them was also a delight. They were very detail oriented, right from designing the menu to finding a spot for the food truck at the venue. They also accommodated many different dietary restrictions ( vegan , gluten free etc.) seamlessly in the menu. Overall, highly recommend them for catering at your next event!

We went there hoping to encourage and support a woman - owned business, but the experience fell flat. We initially went for just a good hot filter coffee to ease a headache but left underwhelmed. Filter coffee was served super cold despite us requesting a hot one twice. Coffee is microwaved. I saw with my bear eyes. The only snack tasted good was beach sundal. The poori was flat, not fluffy served with a bland aloo curry and aamras. We also tried kerala style banana bajji which looked completely different in the photos (on their menu) - what we got were tiny, oily fritters tasted terrible. Filter coffee was served super cold. Portions are less. Service was painfully slow and overall food didn't taste good. Sadly, not worth the hype from Instagram.
