COATI downtown absolutely blew us away. It’s one of those places where every single corner has something cool going on — amazing food, drinks, desserts, vintage shopping, music, and just an overall vibe that somehow feels fun, relaxed, and exciting all at once. We seriously could’ve stayed there for hours. The food options are incredible because everyone can get something completely different and somehow every place still hits. The paletas bar was such a fun surprise and honestly one of the highlights for us. Everything felt unique without trying too hard, and the atmosphere was just GOOD energy everywhere you turned. As a parent of teens, I especially loved that it felt safe, welcoming, and genuinely fun for all of us — not one of those places where the adults are having fun and the kids are bored five minutes later. My teens were obsessed with the vintage resale shops and loved being able to wander around, snack, shop, and hang out without us needing to leave to find the next thing to do. Colorado Springs needed a place like this. COATI is officially one of our favorite downtown spots and we’ll absolutely be back again and again.

This place used to have genuinely solid restaurants, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I went today and ordered Spam musubi and miso udon with bulgogi, a combo I have had here multiple times before. This time it was pathetic. The beef was badly overcooked, and the noodles were so soft they were nearly falling apart, turning the dish into a mushy mess. The Spam musubi was just as disappointing, buried under an excessive amount of rice, and while there was sauce, it was bland, and completely lacking the umami and flavor that makes the dish worth ordering. I addition to that there were three other party members. We didn’t find out that they couldn’t make their dishes until after I had received my food. Whatever standards this place once had are clearly gone. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.

The place is very lively, with lots of music and numerous food options to various styles and interests. The one downside is that there are very few vegetarian options. Parking can be a bit challenging; it's best to use the paid parking lot or prepaid street parking. Unfortunately missed to take pics of other places. Overall, it's definitely a place to visit for dinner when you're in Colorado Springs.

Jose at the bar is a sick dude. However he claimed he would make the best Old Fashioned I'd ever tried. 4 stars because it was an outstanding Old Fashioned, however not the best I'd ever had. Service is great and the ambiance is great. Would absolutely recommend

Came to COATI on Tuesday night for a private happy hour during the Space Symposium, and I was genuinely impressed. The food was great, but the service really stood out, especially from the bar staff. I believe the bartender’s name was Morgan (she mentioned she’s studying systems engineering), and she was incredibly sweet, knowledgable, and passionate. You could tell she was just as excited to be at the event as we were, which made the experience even better. While both shaking out drinks with an impressive whip shake and gushing over the Artemis II mission with us, she made me the best margarita I’ve ever had. And it wasn’t even on the menu. I'll be recommending to the organizers that we absolutely come back next year!
