If you’re looking for a spot with incredible food and impeccable vibes, this eclectic little restaurant is it. From the second we walked in, the atmosphere hooked us—it’s cozy, wonderfully unique, and packed with character. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was packed (glad I made reservations!) The food was delicious (even though all of our salads were missing the hard boiled eggs 😢) and matched the creative energy of the space perfectly. It’s rare to find a place that hits the trifecta of good food, a great vibe, and good service, but this spot nails it. We will absolutely be back! Our waiter generously took the time to grab some group photos for us, and we loved that he snuck a picture of himself in there, too!

Outstanding food and service with a good music vibe! The Spicy Brazilian Coconut Shrimp soup was delicious. My server, Jonas, made great recommendations on the bruschetta (both were excellent) and dessert. (I'm an out-of-towner who saw Shuga's on Triple D.) So glad I dropped in.

Shuga's truly is more than just a place to grab a bite or a drink; it's an experience! The atmosphere buzzes with energy while still feeling incredibly cozy, and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. They really know how to strike that perfect balance—being attentive while letting you enjoy every moment. One of the things that makes Shuga's so special is the unique ambiance. The walls are adorned with rotating local art for sale, giving the place a vibrant and ever-changing atmosphere. And can I say, the restrooms are a delightful surprise—spacious and spotlessly clean, not to mention so well decorated. But wait until you experience the outdoor space! The patio is absolutely charming, strung with fairy lights and filled with quirky decor that creates a whimsical atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you can unwind and forget about the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Now, onto the good stuff: the food and drinks! The dish was excellent—clearly crafted with loving flavor and fresh ingredients. The drinks were just as impressive; they really don’t hold back! Strong, the mixed air perfectly with our meal. Overall, Shuga's is a true gem in the community, bringing together fantastic service, a unique artistic vibe, and top-notch food and drinks. If you’re looking for a great meal, delicious cocktails, and a vibe you won’t forget, this place is an absolute must-visit!

I came here on my first visit to Colorado with my family, right before we dropped my brother off at the USAFA. It was such a great spot to start the trip. My salad was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Shuga’s also offers great vegan options, which makes it an easy choice for different dietary preferences. Highly recommend.

It’s a truly unique experience—nothing on the menu feels like something you’d easily find elsewhere. We were actually recommended this place by a server at another downtown restaurant, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. What makes it even better is the flexibility in their menu, offering both single pieces and full plates, so you can either snack or go all in. The bruschetta and lamb lollipops were especially delicious, and the Vietnamese sandwich was fantastic. It even came with a side of shrimp soul in coconut gravy that was honestly out of this world. The only small miss was the lemon ginger tea, which came out a bit too strong for our taste. Otherwise, the atmosphere really ties everything together—vintage décor, 90s music, and a fun, relaxed vibe. Really glad we decided to come here
