Not my first time and I know won’t be last. We visited during brunch time and for a friend’s birthday. From greetings at the door to our attentive waitress and even the chef himself came to say hi, the whole experience was amazing. Now onto the food, they came out with oxtail served on grits or rice, I chose the latter. These oxtail so tender and juicy and I’d definitely get it again. We also ordered oysters, green tomatoes, lamb chop breakfast, butter pecan waffles (SOO good!) and complimentary strawberry shortcake waffles (delicious). For our cocktails we got King of Hearts and Blackberry Margarita.. strong.. lol. Overall great experience :).

I had an amazing experience at Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything—great music, beautiful atmosphere, and the food did not disappoint. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Paris. She was beyond amazing! Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm—she made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Her recommendations were spot on, and she checked on us just the right amount without ever feeling overbearing. It’s rare to find service that elevates the entire dining experience, but Paris did exactly that. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be asking for her every time! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and top-tier service.

This place is fantastic! Very elevated Soul Food that does not disappoint. The atmosphere is just right, music was poppin'. I had a blackberry Margarita which was probably the best Margarita I have tasted. I had the Cajun Stuffed Salmon, which was stuffed with collard green dip and topped with Lump Crab in a delicious white wine sauce, all sitting atop a mound of dirty rice. Jasmine was a great host and treated us very well. I will not miss an opportunity to come here again! DC is very lucky to have this spot.

Had an amazing time at Kitchen and Kocktails DC thanks to our server Omar! I had the frosé to drink, Trinity egg rolls, and spaghetti with fried catfish — everything was absolutely delicious. Omar provided excellent service and made the experience even more enjoyable. The music and atmosphere were also amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back! I came back again with more guests and my server Rapheal was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He provided great service.

This is a great restaurant to dine in for date night and celebrations. I really like their "Welcome Home" greeting that ushers you in and make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is very serene with nice R&B playing in the background. My server was simply amazing and she ensure everything was great for our experience here. Lastly, the food is very flavorful and SEASONED. I would definitely dine here again!
