La Shukran delivered from start to finish. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. We had a reservation but there was a short wait, so the hostess directed us to the bar. When we were finally seated, we found out our drinks had been comped. Such a thoughtful touch! We started with the BBQ'd Maitake spread which was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It was served with French baguettes. We also had the lamb sausage dumplings, which were absolutely delicious. I had the Rumaan to drink which paired perfectly, and for my main, the slow grilled lamb. All were outstanding. I closed out with the Filfil cocktail and chocolate macarons, which were the perfect ending. The food was flavorful and consistently top tier, the vibe was great, and the service was truly one of a kind. Warm, attentive, and genuinely memorable. Five stars without hesitation!!!

Incredible experience. The food is delicious with mixes of flavours which always deliver. We had the Arak butter escargots, orange duck (perfectly cooked, tasty crust on the outside), asparagus (crazy fresh) and fries (super flavourful dips). The ambiance is modern, with a choice between cozy booth and sitting at the bar. Service is flawless, and dishes arrive one after the other so you don’t have waitime. Great selection of drinks, cocktails and mocktails.

If you've tried Albi or Yellow, then this is right up your alley...literally (the restaurant is in an alley). Reservations do go quickly so you have to be on top of it when they open. I loved the swanky hip dark bar vibes and the fun cocktails they offered on the menu. Highly recommend trying their drinms, we really liked their cocktails, especially the Clarified Al Enab. It's a more savory mocktail that smelled (and slightly) tasted like roasted peanuts. I'm honestly vexed how they managed to achieve that 😅 All the dishes are family style and were shared with everyone! We really liked the falafel jibne, which had a crispy exterior with a moist filling...falafel usually is way too dry but this made me realize what good falafel tastes like! I really loved the triple cooked batata - YUM! Love when a potato is super crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. You cannot skip on the Hashwei fried rice - it was my favorite dish of the night! The crispiness of the rice in each bite had me going back for more. I could eat an entire bowl of this by itself. Other notable mentions: the escargot hummus, soujek dumplings, and the two protein dishes: the Freedom Run Lamb Loin and the Wagyu NY Strip were cooked to perfection. Service was very attentive and food came out in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant and giving it a go!

You enter through a green door on a side street and climb stairs to a lounge-meets-dining-room hideaway where the lighting, color, and music are all dialed in. The ambiance feels exclusive. Everyone is happy to be present, absorbing the cool energy. This exceptional vibe is matched by first-class service. The bbq’d maitake is brushed with date molasses piled over silky hummus, though the mushrooms outnumber the chickpeas. Maryland crab on whipped labne is well balanced with green harissa giving the whole dish a vibrant flavor. The cabbage arrives like a small sculpture, soft at heart, charred at the edges, glazed in mish mish, and anchored by whipped tahini. Hashwei fried rice nails comfort, consisting of soft lamb, fragrant rice, garlic yogurt to bind it all. The whole fried hot quail is crisp skin, juicy meat, chili oil heat, calmed by tahini ranch. Bite after bite, it doesn’t slow down. The steak kebab brings smoky tenderness, though the soggy onions could disappear and nothing would be lost. Soujek dumplings are soft little pockets carrying subtle spice, urfa chili crunch. Desserts go hard: knafeh topped with raspberry labne ice cream, crackling baklava with rose petals, elegant macarons, and a blackberry sorbet that’s quietly excellent. As for the cocktails every drink, alcoholic or zero-proof, is creative, aromatic, balanced. La’ Shukran feels like a place built by people who love hosting, and it shows. You leave warmer, happier, and definitively feeling cooler.

All I will say is, that bird better not try to fly away when I return! Everything was so excellent! Delicious escargot with hummus. And the sweeetbreads 😋 😋 had a fun time! I'm sure i was giving the staff many laughs fighting them off from grabbing my plates until they reached MY definition of finished 🤣🤣
