I had an amazing experience at Dockside Seafood Restaurant! The seafood was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. From the first bite to the last, everything was absolutely delicious. The waterfront setting and marina views create the perfect coastal atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Jacksonville Beach, this is a must-visit spot for seafood lovers. This our first time here and we thought that on a Monday it would be less crowded. Definitely not the case, as it was still pretty busy. One thing we didn't know was you have to order at the counter then seat yourself. Not terrible but if it's busy good luck finding a seat. I ordered fried shrimp & scallops, and my wife ordered fish tacos with a side of fried okra. The shrimp was fried perfectly and was fresh. The tacos were excellent and the fried okra was the best we had ever had. It was not frozen but hand cut and battered. The coleslaw was also very creamy and delicious.

All the seafood was super fresh and had a great taste to it. I had the blackened shrimp Poboy, which was really good a nice soft bread and had lots of flavor. I do wish I had a few more shrimp on it but still, everything was good and well worth it. We also ordered the con fritters which were good and also the fried snapper which was huge, fresh and had great flavor. That dish alone could feed about three people picking with an appetizer.

At Jacksonville Beach, we looked for a fresh seafood restaurant. Found Dockside with great reviews, so off we went. It's a different place, in a unique place, especially at sunset. We arrived and there was a large line at the door. We thought it was for a table. Nope, it was the order line and then you go to the table. I liked their system. There is no waiting for the food at the table. Food came hot in less than 10 mins. Fish, shrimp and scallops tasted very fresh and delicious. Waiters are efficient on any request. Really a local gem.

The food was extremely fresh. Do not worry if you see a line. It is quick and well worth it. They cook everything in house and you can taste it. So fresh. The blackened shrimp was great but the fried okra was even better. Get a second helping of hush puppies. Well worth the money for the portions! Casually environment. Can sit on covered porch, inside, or out.
