Leintz Belony 4 months agoFirst-time caller, long-time admirer. I’d been wanting to try Culinary Dropout since it opened, and a coworker’s recommendation finally pushed me to go for a Valentine’s lunch with my wife — great choice. The space feels upscale without being pretentious — beautiful chandeliers, exposed ceilings, roomy booths, and a massive drink selection. The menu isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtful and full of unique options. Our server was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. We ordered the Two to Mango and Evil Princess cocktails — both looked amazing and packed plenty of flavor (and alcohol). Highly recommend. I had the skirt steak with fries and homemade ranch, and it instantly reminded me of my go-to at The Garden Table in Carmel — always a good sign. Overall, great food, great vibes, and a perfect spot for a date. I’ll definitely be back.
Reese 2 months agoMy aunt joined me for a Friday lunch at the Culinary Dropout and we were both extremely impressed with the experience. Quality and quick service plus great food! The menu had so many great looking options, I will for sure be going back to try. We had the wagyu pigs in a blanket which were delicious, outside was flaky like a fresh baked butter croissant (chefs kiss). I also got the rainbow sushi roll and a house salad. Absolutely LOVED the meal and cannot wait to go back to try more dishes!
Kelsey Kean 2 months agoWow!!! What a place!! From the moment I walked in I could tell this restaurant was going to be fantastic. We were greeted by a few people working the host stand, and seated right away. I loved how everyone was wearing what they wanted and it wasn’t just the same uniform. It showed everyone’s own personality!! My sister and I asked for recommendations on drinks and they did not disappoint. She got a playboi stache and I had the dropout classic mule. We also order the soft pretzels and provolone fondue, and wow! The portion of those were huge! Our server Parker was phenomenal!! He gave us recommendations for entrees and my sister got the Mongolian short rib. I got the shrimp tempura crunch. Both were so flavorful and delicious! We also then shared the monkey bread and it was gooey and perfectly paired with vanilla bean ice cream. I also enjoyed the lived musician, he was wonderful too! We will for sure be back soon!!
Min Xu 3 months agoThe service wasn’t bad, very nice environment. Food wise, The crispy chicken sandwich wasn’t bad—the bread was nicely crispy on the outside while still soft inside. The truffle fries were good as well, very fresh and crispy with a nice flavor. The Mongolian short beef had good flavor, but it was a little too salty for my taste. For dessert, the monkey bread was pretty cool—it reminded me of a mix between bread pudding and apple crisp, which was unique and enjoyable. Overall, there were some solid dishes, but it was still a good experience worth trying.
Dasha Arestova a month agoI honestly didn’t expect it to be this good, but it completely exceeded expectations. The food was amazing, the restaurant was very clean, and the servers were professional, elegant, and attentive without being overbearing. The bar selection and overall atmosphere were excellent, and even the presentation of the plates felt thoughtful and high-end. The meatloaf and Korean short ribs were absolutely incredible, and the truffle deviled eggs were one of my favorite appetizers I’ve had in a while. The banana dessert was the perfect ending too. Definitely coming back again!
