Graydon Taylor 5 months agoWe visited during the afternoon and were lucky enough to enjoy the devour Indy menu. The soup appetizers were so filling and amazing. I loved the bruschetta but there’s so much and had to save room. My wife had the meatball sliders which were incredible. My lemon ricotta pizza was so unique, the pizza dough and crust were perfect. We finished with the donut like dessert, forgetting the name. The service and atmosphere were top notch, great location for great people watching on Mass Ave.
Lango Sven a month agoThe food was all around very good. Very palatable.Atmosphere and ambience is well balanced to have a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The calamari and lasagna were delicious. The meatballs spaghetti was done right. The meatballs did not taste synthetic like the ones you might get at the wrong places.
Taylor Underwood Towery 3 months agoMy husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here tonight! We had the most special experience. We were sat at the best table in the restaurant, giving us an elegant vibe and a sense of romantic privacy. The food and drinks were fantastic and our server, Rachel, answered all our questions and gave us great recommendations. To end the night, the staff treated us to a complimentary tiramisu, which I think was the best tiramisu I’ve had. We also enjoyed the arancini and chicken piccata. We will 100% be back soon!
Bruno Storchi Bergmann 5 months agoWe had a great experience on our first night out in Indianapolis (we just moved here). The ambience of the place is truly special (see photos). And great service. The two different variety of wine ordered were very tasty (an Italian variety and a Merlot from California), and the entry dish, a ciabatta with olive oil and olives, met and maybe even exceeded expectations. A bit of a let down were the two main dishes. My wife mentioned that an italian restaurant down in Brazil had better pasta, and I tend to agree with her. My Cacio i Pepe was good but I think it would benefit of a more subtle preparation: thinner spaghetti (maybe a vermicelli) and a more liquid (not so dry…) bechamel sauce. The black pepper was good, but could have been used in a thinner grind. Overall, still a very good experience and worthy of a second chance.
MARIA JESUS GARCIA A 2 months agoThe atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant, though I cannot say the same for the service, which was quite poor. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was completely forgotten until the waitress finally appeared—perhaps 15 to 20 minutes later. We visited for my birthday; I was given a dessert, though we still don't know if it was on the house or if we were charged for it, as we never received a bill. Likewise, the spoon for the dessert—a tiramisu—never arrived. Furthermore, the tiramisu itself was excessively sweet (and I generally have a sweet tooth), and the portion looked as if it had been cut with a mechanical slicer. As for the food, I ordered the branzino; it was overcooked, and the asparagus was hard rather than *al dente*. I think the only redeeming element of the dish was the zucchini. My husband and mother ordered the Osso Buco; the flavor was fine, but I felt the meat needed a few more hours of cooking time. Regarding the appetizers: the calamari had a lot of excess fried flour left on the plate, and I’m not sure if we were served *passata* instead of marinara sauce; the meatballs contained far too much pepper. All in all, I did not care for their culinary concept, and the service was terrible from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I’m sorry, but I cannot recommend this place.
