I recently discovered Lotte Restaurant online located in downtown Wichita for happy hour on a Tuesday, and it did not disappoint. The place was buzzing at about half capacity, creating a lively but still comfortable atmosphere. Maddie, the mixologist, truly stood out—easily one of the best in Kansas and honestly among my top two worldwide. Her drinks were exceptional. I started with the Paloma Noir, a tequila and grapefruit creation that was perfectly balanced and absolutely impeccable. Then I tried the “You Up”—strong, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. For appetizers, I ordered the Korean chicken wings. They were sweet, spicy, and packed with flavor—solid 4/5. My entrée, the Lamb Orecchiette with merguez sausage, broccolini, feta, oregano, and chile, was outstanding. The sauce tied everything together beautifully and elevated the dish. One thing that makes this spot even more exciting is that the menu changes every 6–8 weeks, so there’s always something new to try. To finish the night, I grabbed the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I ended up taking them home, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed them—definitely a win. Compliments to the chef! Overall, a fantastic happy hour experience with great drinks, flavorful food, and standout service. I’ll definitely be back.

Came back specifically for the pork chop schnitzel and ended up ordering the entire cocktail menu, zero regrets. The drinks were incredible, and mama’s razz pear Marg was the highlight of the night. The feta dip is an absolute must order. Don’t skip it. What sets Lottē apart is their commitment to sourcing from local farmers and ranchers, you can genuinely taste the difference in every dish. Best quality ingredients you’ll find at any restaurant in Wichita. Staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the food. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The charcuterie plate was unexpected but in a good way since I didn't expect non-typical cheeses and meats like brie cheese. This restaurant elevates dishes to a whole new level since it has the level of culinary expertise that is usually only seen in bigger cities like Chicago or even KC, and it uses local Kansas ingredients which is a standout. The restaurant is also nicely decorated in the inside and in some spots I can actually watch the chefs cook food which was pretty neat. The campo lindo smoked chicken was pretty good. Unlike most restaurants, they actually make desserts in-house, so i ended up getting the carrot cake which was an elevate take on the usual carrot cake with sorbet and a different shape. Overall, I might come back for special occasions despite the steep price point.

We hosted a private event at Lotte a few weeks ago, and everything went exceptionally well. Josh and his team went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had a great dining experience. They accommodated our entrée and drink requests from previous menus, played our custom music playlist, and even printed personalized menus for the event. The food was outstanding, and the level of service made the evening truly special. We hope they continue serving the same high quality food and hospitality for years to come. Easily one of the best restaurants in Wichita.

Hell yeah! Just had dinner here tonight. Madison is the sweetest waitress she did a great job. I’m in town from LA for work and the food here reminded me of home (I’ve had some really horrible food + service since being in Wichita lol) so this was a great change of pace. Everything was fresh and the portions were perfect. Definitely worth trying if you find yourself randomly in Kansas like I did 😅
