Incredible and unique dishes assembled by various chefs. Everything is super delicious, I was especially blown away by the vegetarian eggplant/avocado sandwich. They have a great selection of beers as well. It can get loud since it's always busy. Amazing staff! Great location and not overpriced.

The place looked cool im giving it a five although be warned, the steak was really hard to eat, it was still tasty but so hard to tear apart, almost like a giant steak tip, i felt like an animal tearing into it. That being said this was an amazing sandwich nonetheless, the potatoes cheese truffle was perfection and the bread was insane. Not cheap at 32 but i split it and it was the perfect amount. I wanna go back and try some of their other sandwiches.

Parish Café & Bar is one of those rare Boston spots that feels both timeless and effortlessly cool. Diner-style at heart, it’s the kind of place where you can slide into a seat at the bar, order great food, and feel immediately at home. What truly sets Parish apart is its legendary sandwich menu. Each sandwich is created by a different well-known Boston chef, turning the menu into a curated collection of local culinary talent. It’s a brilliant concept—and even better execution. Every bite feels intentional, bold, and deeply satisfying. The service is friendly, efficient, and polished without being stiff. You’re taken care of quickly, whether you’re popping in before a show or settling in for a longer meal. And speaking of shows—the location cannot be beat. Just a quick 10-minute walk to the Theater District, making it a perfect pre- or post-theater stop. The food is downright delicious, and I couldn’t help but notice plate after plate of huge onion rings being carried past the bar—golden, towering, and impossible to ignore. They’re officially on my list for next time. And don’t skip the cocktails. They’re creative, well-balanced, and full of flavor—clearly crafted with as much care as the food. Parish Café & Bar nails the balance between comfort and culinary credibility. It’s approachable, inventive, and undeniably Boston. A must-visit whether you’re a local or just passing through. 🍸🥪🧅

If you’ve been walking around Boston, and you’re tired and hot and hungry, map this place and walk fast (don’t run. . .its too hot for that) to get there. And then dig in. We ordered many things and they were all excellent. Service was friendly and accommodating. I’d come here again and again if I lived here.

We tried a couple items from the menu -- onion rings, eggplant sandwich, the le mistral sandwich, a cocktail, and a mocktail. The onion rings were cooked very well and when you bit into it, the onion did not come out the rest of the battered part. The aoli paired with the onion ring was very tasty. Highly recommend trying. The eggplant sandwich was very good, but I think I would substitute the Mexican coleslaw next time. The place itself needs some love as the table was wobbly and the women's bathroom had some issues - a stall with no lock and sinks with faucets too close to the wall that made it difficult to properly wash my hands. Overall this was place was still worth trying out the food!
