Kinda mid spent $160 Solo was underwhelmed. Ambience is nothing amazing I ordered ribeye medium well it came out medium rare for 160 bucks they should be more on point just saying. Will not be back

My husband and I ate at 801 Chophouse in downtown Kansas City Missouri last Saturday night. my husband had their signature Old Fashion and I had a Filthy dirty gin martini. We were not disappointed. We ordered the baked oysters on the half shell and they tasted like the ocean. We are huge steak lovers and we were not let down here! We both ordered the 16 oz Ribeye medium/rare. We asked for the 801 Chophouse seasoning which was a rosemary based rub and we also had the bone marrow butter. This steak was so tender we could cut it with a spoon literally. We had The mushroom platter and it was delicious with our steaks. We topped it off with the New York style cheese cake with blueberry sauce. I couldn’t stop eating it. I felt like the prices were fair for not only the food but the atmosphere. Our server was Jackson and he hit it out of the park! We will definitely be back!

A favorite place to celebrate the special occasions in life. Always the best cuts of meats and top notch service. Would encourage for those on a budget to check out their Sunday Supper Special. A side salad, your choice of steak, and a dessert. Recommend if you go with the prime rib, have it seasoned and seared. You won’t regret it. Be prepared to be there for two hours. This is as much the experience as it is a meal.

Five stars all around! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely incredible experience here last night! The flavors were out of this world, (we ordered the Surf and Turf and the Atlantic Salmon) but the service was the real highlight... Our server Mike made our night! He was friendly, professional, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had a great sense of timing. He made us feel welcomed without being overbearing. His food selections were perfect - especially the Key Lime Pie! If you're coming here, definitely ask for Mike’s section! He truly elevated the entire dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here for a special dinner with friends. The service was great, the wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had all the differences in the cut and aging styles of their steaks explained to us well. The food was really good. We tried many of their side dishes and I can say the scalloped potatoes and the green beans were my two favorites, but the asparagus and macaroni and cheese were still phenomenal. It is a pricey restaurant and we had that expectation going in, but it was worth it.
