The experience started when I walked through the door and saw a room filled with my brother's and sisters. I was instantly over joyed to see us supporting a black owned business. Our waiter Ronnie was so professional and accommodating. The food was flavored and so good. I truly recommend this establishment. I hope you open a restaurant in Brooklyn but if not Brooklyn any where in the city. Felicia Thompson

Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in Charlotte was an amazing experience! The atmosphere is upscale yet still welcoming—perfect for a night out. From the host, bartender, and our server to the chef and even the General Manager who came to our table to check on us, everyone was incredibly inviting. Our server, Ashanti, was absolutely out of this world. In my entire life, I’ve never encountered someone with such exceptional customer service. We were truly well taken care of and she gave great recommendations for everyone at our table and checked on us consistently, making sure everything came out fresh and hot. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was well seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as good. The whole vibe was lively and fun.This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

My husband and I are in town for a concert. We found this place on Instagram and we were not disappointed! From the Hostess stand to the service to the food, it is TOP NOTCH! Mrs. Carmen, our server, was great! Please request her when you come in! We came in on a Friday morning so we didn’t experience Brunch (we will next time). However, what we had was INCREDIBLE! 20 out of 10!! Come ready to eat!!

Finally!! I've been considering this restaurant since they open here in Charlotte and it finally happened today! I made reservations for 6:15 and we arrived at 6:12 and was immediately seated. The restaurant was almost a full capacity which I was surprised about considering the tone of day. It took longer than expected for anyone to come over to our table once seated (maybe 10 mins) but once she came. I think her make was Makayla and see was really nice and told us what sooner of her favorites were. I decided on the catfish, Mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned! That fish was fried right okay! Hubs got the grits, fried lobster tail and blackened shrimp. So good! Loved the music they were playing and the volume was perfect. Tables are pretty closer together. Overall, great experience and food was AMAZING! I was scared to come because o heard that you'll wait too long even with a reservation. Happy that wasn't my experience. Planning to go back.

We had the best brunch experience, and it was all thanks to our amazing waitress Train! From the moment my girlfriends and I sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure our drinks stayed full, gave great menu recommendations, and kept the vibe fun and relaxed the entire time. What really stood out was how she balanced professionalism with personality—checking in on us without ever being overbearing. She handled everything with ease, even when it got busy, and made us feel like we were her top priority. If you’re coming for brunch, ask for her—you won’t be disappointed. She truly made our outing special, and we’ll definitely be back because of her!
