If you’re looking for a cozy, homey Italian spot in Philly, Little Nonna’s absolutely delivers 🍝✨ From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. The decor is warm and charming, making it the kind of place you want to linger a little longer and just enjoy the vibe. For food, everything hit. The rigatoni vodka was rich, creamy, and so satisfying. The garlic bread was a standout too, especially because they give you extra garlic to spread on top which made it even better 🧄🔥 The Sunday gravy was another favorite. It’s perfect if you want to try a little bit of everything, with pasta, meatball, sausage, and veggies all packed into one dish. Super flavorful and comforting. Portion sizes are generous and the prices feel very reasonable for the quality and experience. Overall, such a solid spot for a cozy dinner. Would definitely come back 🤍

FIVE STARS+++ for Little Nonna’s. Been here twice and oh my goodness. No notes. Meatballs: amazing. Meatballs after two days in my fridge: STILL great. Tried everyone else’s dishes - incredible. Great wine, great service. Forever loving this restaurant. Give your Nonna a hug from me. Thank you, Thank you for feeding us so well ❤️

Saturday night, rain pouring, and somehow still got lucky with a seat. The atmosphere was everything, the service was amazing, and the food? Even better. Sangria was on point, garlic bread with extra garlic on the side was a game changer, shrimp scampi cooked perfectly. Finished it off with tiramisu and cannolis… no complaints at all. 10/10, definitely going back.

This was the fastest dinner out of my life because the food was so scrumptious. Service was quick and we descended upon the arancini like ravenous wolves. Gone by the time the server was back to check on us (2 minutes). Then we both got the short rib pasta. Huge plate. Cleared within twenty minutes. We believe the head chef learned from Strega Nona herself. Incredible experience. Only thing is we were seated kind of awkwardly close to other diners but the magic of the outdoor fairy lights makes up for it.

Little Nonna’s – Philadelphia First off, they do not hold back on portion sizes, which is always a win. Appetizers • Little Nonna Garlic Bread – Great. Simple and done right. • Wild Mushroom Arancini – Great. Just a heads up: very hot on the first bite. • B+V+P Meatballs – Great. Flavorful and comforting. • Romaine + Fennel Caesar – Great. The warm polenta croutons were unique and really good. • Roasted Cauliflower – Great. The sauce that comes with it was super tasty. Main Courses • Chicken Parmesan – The sauce and noodles were very good. My mom wasn’t blown away by the chicken itself—she said it wasn’t bad, just not as strong as the rest of the food. • Wild Mushroom Bucatini – Great. Creamy white sauce, rich and comforting. The noodles are on the thicker side, which I personally liked. We also saw a lot of people ordering the Sunday Gravy, and it looked amazing, definitely getting that next time. Dessert • Espresso Tiramisu – Amazing. • Hazelnut Cannoli – Also amazing. Let’s just say after all that food, we could barely walk out the door. Already looking forward to coming back. Side note: it is very dark in there so make sure you bring your readers or pull out your phone for a flashlight if you struggle with reading in the dark.
