Liza Lim 4 months agoWe went to Twisted Root Burger on a weekday and had a really nice experience. There wasn’t much of a wait, and it wasn’t crowded, which made it a perfect spot to relax and catch up. The food was good overall. The chicken strips were slightly overcooked, but still tasty. The Tuesday deal is amazing — the price is hard to beat and definitely worth it! My girlfriend and I had a great time enjoying the laid-back atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
TheBiteVerdict 2 weeks agoTwisted Root is one of those places that gets the entire experience right. I stopped in recently during a soccer match, and between the atmosphere, food, and overall vibe, it reminded me why this place continues to be one of the best burger spots around. The first thing that stands out is the personality of the restaurant. Everywhere you look there are funny signs, unique decorations, sports memorabilia, and little details that make the place feel fun and welcoming. It’s clear they don’t take themselves too seriously, but they take their food seriously. The “Chuck Norris can bend it better than Beckham” sign during the soccer match gave me a good laugh and fit perfectly with the energetic atmosphere. The dining area is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a great place to hang out with friends, watch a game, or bring the family. The sports-themed environment, large TVs, and relaxed setup create a perfect game-day destination. Whether you’re there for soccer, football, baseball, or hockey, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the open kitchen concept lets you see the team working hard to get orders out. Even during a busy period, everything moved smoothly and the employees were welcoming and attentive. One thing I always appreciate about Twisted Root is that they offer more than just your standard burger experience. The menu has plenty of variety, including specialty burgers and unique options like elk and other game meats for those looking to try something different. The ingredients taste fresh, the buns are quality, and you can tell they put effort into creating burgers that stand out from typical fast-casual restaurants. The self-serve drink station was clean and well-stocked, and the overall restaurant was maintained nicely. The atmosphere felt comfortable and relaxed, making it easy to sit back and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. What really makes this location special is the combination of great food and a genuinely fun environment. It’s the kind of place where you can grab lunch, catch a sporting event, enjoy a cold drink, and spend a little extra time just hanging out. If you’re looking for a burger restaurant with character, quality ingredients, friendly service, and a great sports-watching atmosphere, Twisted Root is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back for another burger and another game. Highly recommended for burger lovers, sports fans, families, and anyone looking for a fun local spot with plenty of personality.
Ty D Hayes 2 weeks agoDaughter and I visited here on 6/15/26 as our pregame dinner date before the Dallas Wings game. We visited this location once 2 or 3 years prior so we decided to try it again. At 1st, I didn't rhink it was going to go well because the customer service didnt start out great but the way I'm wired I got the cashier to open up more. From that point customer service was amazing. We oder a cheese burger and my daughter order a bacon burger no cheese and we shared a plate of fries. The burgers are little pricey but they were freaking delicious. We spent $35 on our meal but it was worth it. I had to tell the cook how great our burger was. They only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the men's restroom needed a little work. It wasn't the worst I've seen but it could've definitely used a little bit of cleaning. I 100% recommend this place especially if you want to pregame before a Dallas Wings game. Oh, the pickle bar is very good too. Im a sucker for the sweet and spicy. My daughter loves the breaded pickles.
Sara Hilton 3 months agoCame here yesterday for the first time. I ordered a kids meal which is a burger with fries. Also got a watermelon tea. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The fries were crispy and good. The selection of ketchup, mustard, and BBQ sauce are awesome. I tried every pickle!!!! Prices are reasonable and the food is so good!!!! When I walked in Jada, Frosting, and Pricilla helped me and checked on me through out my visit. The place is clean and friendly. Highly recommend. It was ao good I brought my entire family back tonight.
Joel Argo 3 months agoMixed bag. Big Tex a good burger if you get past the fried onion strings. The BBQ sauce was good too, just don't use the squeeze bottle to put sauce on your burger unless you like linking sauce off your forearm. Better to take the top off and pour it out onto the burger. Live and learn. I guess I'd consider the burger on the expensive side, next time I'd get a make you own choices burger. Service was good, five patrons before me in line and it took a time for the burger to make it to Bob Belcher. You want fast food, go elsewhere. Not many diners, but loud enough music to make you glad the call out for your food is extra, really loud. Such is life for a sensitive wanderer. Oh, forgot to mention, Reverse Angle Parking sucks. Saw someone parking, just not in reverse. Another Parker had fun waiting for the car behind to go around so he could reverse in. Me, I parked on the side bypassing the silly construct. 🤪
