First time at the Waterman’s Surfside Grill located at 415 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach. Pulled into the parking lot and was greeted by a valet who handed me the ticket for collecting our car. Walked inside and was immediately greeted and seated. We wanted to set in the covered outside seating so we could watch the surf coming in. Ordered a Filet Oscar and the Ultimate Just Seafood. Food came out within 10 minutes. Everything was hot, fresh and pleasing to the eye. The taste was very good. Had a good dining experience and come on in if you’re hungry for some fresh seafood while in the area. Thank you.

Wow this place is amazing. The food was top shelf and good price for the quantity and quality. Seating was a little busy but you can sit in the bar area, first come first serve. Great atmosphere and many tv's for the games. Ashlee was good and served the food quickly. The crab dip was great. Needs to be shared. Could have used more chips. The Waterman's pasta was superb. Great seafood, so fresh and prepared excellently.

First time here and from the moment you get into the parking lot, valet is there to open your door! We were seated within less than 20 minutes. Bryan was our outstanding server and he recommended the crab cakes! I’m so glad I tried them. Husband went for the seafood platter. Both did NOT disappoint! Bryan was attentive and not overbearing. His timing was impeccable and the smile helped, too. Bryan also recommended dessert which we took to go. (We were STUFFED from dinner.) The portions are perfect! Next time we come, I’ll be sure to try the mozzarella sticks (I saw passing by and they’re HUGE) and the she-crab soup. 10 stars

Our waiter was amazing but there was a server that put a super hot plate down at the edge of the table and it burnt the crap out of my friend cause she had no choice but to try to move it back. But other than that the food was great. Our server was awesome. That crab dip is absolutely amazing. The orange crush was so good. We had the Ultimate Seafood dinner and it was delicious. The scallops wrapped in bacon were also very good. Calamari was crunchy not chewy. The tuna was meh. It was ok.

First time here. Was so excited to finally visit but ended up extremely disappointed. Restaurant is nice. On water, valet, service was just ok. Ordered shrimp and fish. Both were extremely bland. Not a drop of seasoning. And who can mess up a mimosa? They can. I love grapefruit juice but the RubyMosa was one I left some in my glass (which I hardly ever do.) No bueno. The best thing was the she crab soup. That was actually delicious. Just overall disappointed. Not sure if I'll return bc a chef who doesn't season food is not for me. I'm sorry.
