Category: Gastropub. The homey feel of this place reminds me of a cabin in the Adirondacks. Although we would normally have dined on one of the outdoor patios or at the inviting bar just past the open kitchen, we chose a cozy comfy leather banquette over a table, from which we admired the decor: subdued lighting, shaded lamps, sandstone-brick wall, and open black steel truss ceiling with visible HVAC tubes. We were very happy with the wine list, which offered several bottles of red for $50 or less (our sweet spot for restaurant wines), and one was even under $40. The solidly gastropub menu came highly recommended. We started with the deviled eggs, which were presented on branded wooden trays that I now covet for my upcoming Oefs Mayo series. For a main we shared the blackened branzino, which was the best and most beautiful branzino I have seen anywhere. Golden and blackened, crispy, crusted, and large enough to be easily shareable, especially with a side of frites. The frites were wonderfully super crispy. And something happened with the frites that’s never happened before. We always order frites with mayo. In every other restaurant, I emphasize that we want mayo, not ketchup, and that it needs to arrive with the frites so they don’t get cold and flabby while we await the always-late mayo. We’re always assured that the mayo will arrive with the frites, but it never does, except at this restaurant, where it actually arrived BEFORE the frites. I was blown away by this little thing, and it made all the difference between an okay meal and a perfect one. This place is destined to become one of our regular haunts in Phoenix/Scottsdale. The entire experience was fantastic. Complimentary valet is how we started, to walk in and get patio seating on a busy Saturday night with no wait at all. We were greeted by Bella, who was wonderful and attentive throughout the whole time. The food, which the pictures do not do justice for, was phenomenal. The tuna tartare was out of this world, fresh and ripe avocado with cilantro and lime on fresh made chips, it was just amazing. The seared ahi tacos were fantastic with the except they could make their hand-made corn tortillas just a bit thinner, other than that, it was perfect as well. The prime rib was tender and had such a complex and savory flavor that was complimented well with the creamy horseradish sauce. The sides, we had both the garden vegetables and the fries with both aioli sauces and there was no a single miss. The vegetables were fresh and tasty, the fries were delicious and the sauces, just wow, the sauces. The whole place runs seamlessly. The staff clearly work well as a team. The environment was so cozy and chic, I do recommend you ask for the patio seating and after you've enjoyed everything make sure to venmo the valet team a couple dollars because they did fantastic as well.

I’ve had Chelsea’s Kitchen on my "to-go" list for quite a while based on recommendations from several foodie friends. Finding ourselves on that side of town looking for lunch, we finally decided to give it a shot. The Atmosphere Since it was a beautiful spring day, the patio made the decision for us—it has to be one of the best outdoor dining spots in all of Phoenix. It’s the perfect place to sit back and soak in the weather. The Food & Drinks We stuck with the local favorites: Short Rib Taco Platter: Alma definitely won the order of the day. This taco plate was hands down awesome—perfectly executed. Green Chile Burger: It wasn't a bad burger by any means, but compared to those tacos, it just didn't stand a chance - I was jealous! Cocktails: Their specialty cocktail list feels like it was built specifically for patio sipping. Everything was fresh, bright, and offered really tasty spins on the classics. The Verdict It certainly made for a pricey lunch, but the quality and the atmosphere made it worth it. We’d absolutely do it again for such a beautiful experience.

Shockingly great food. Ahi tuna ceviche was delicious as well as the prime rib and the jumbo shrimp tacos. Not to mention they hand press their tortillas and give out the most satisfying salted chocolate chip cookies on your way out. Exceeded our expectations for sure.

First time going to Chelsea’s after being in Phoenix and hearing about it many times, and it did not disappoint. The service was great, our server helped explain the menu and dish options! If weather is good I suggest sitting outside, we were lucky and sat next to the firepit! We started with the Tuna Tartare that also came with guacamole. I loved the tuna paired with guac, a combo that I haven’t had yet. The Short Rib tacos were falling apart and had incredible flavor, these are a MUST have. The Prime Rib French Dip was also delicious, and I loved the side Caesar salad. All of our food was cooked perfectly, I can’t wait to go back!
