Casa Dora’s is hands down the best spot in Jacksonville for authentic New York-style Italian food. I’ve only been a few times, but everything has been excellent. The wine is fantastic, and the food tastes like the real deal. I’ve had the stromboli, pecorino cheese, homemade marinara, and pizza by the slice, and it all reminded me of Little Italy-style Italian food. If you’re missing New York Italian food in Jacksonville, this is where you need to go. Highly recommend.

This little restaurant was so uniquely decorated with autographed pictures from so many famous people who just LOVE PAPA G! It was cozy and such a friendly environment. I wasn't sure what to order but Papa G explained all of his food like the true Chef he is and assured us everything was delicious 😋 and oh my goodness it was amazing. Don't let the "hole in the wall outdoor vibe stop you from going inside, you will miss one of the best meals in your life!!! Truth!

It’s definitely a quaint little spot. Looks like a lot of history there. I stopped by for lunch, chose the recommendation and asked for a small salad. Bread was brought with the salad that was amazing! I highly suspect the pizza would be amazing as well given the they make the dough on site. Pasta came out, chicken, spinach, and mushrooms in a cream sauce. It was well prepared and I ate every single bite. I wish I had more time here to go back again.

They won me over in just one day. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff made it feel like a neighborhood staple worth knowing about. A special shoutout to Freddie, genuinely one of those people who makes a dining experience memorable just by being present. Attentive, personable, and exactly the kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back. And the bolognese lasagna? Absolutely outstanding. Rich, hearty, and made with care. I was only in town for the day, but if I ever find myself back here, Casa Dora is my first stop.

So glad I decided to try this place! The food is phenomenal! The service excellent and I love the atmosphere! The music, the food and the customer service is top notch!!! You can not go wrong with trying this place. I am in town for a conference and wanted something within walking distance! 10 out of 10 woukd definitely recommend!
