I came in a little bit before they were closing. The gentleman at the front counter was very nice. And I think him for letting me sub out my fries for onion rings even though he said they don’t normally do that. As someone who is not a french fry lover I really appreciate that. The food was very good. I got shrimp with onion rings. Didn’t have to wait too long for my food. Will stop by again if I’m on that side of town.

One of my favorite places since moving to the historic district! The service is always great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I truly appreciate how attentive and communicative they are—especially when things are backed up or running a little slow. They make sure you’re aware and give you the option to decide whether to wait, which shows a lot of respect for their customers. The food quality is amazing—everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The drinks are top tier, and whoever is making those sandwiches… I love you for real! Overall, an amazing experience every time. Highly recommend!

My first time going and it was worth it! Grilled chicken salad was delicious! I ate everything!! When ever I return to Jacksonville it's a must I get another one! I wish I would have got one for tge trip back to miami 😩 The cheese cake was ok

Me and my family came after a funeral and we got the Wings, Shrimp, Okra, Gizzards, Liver, Fried Fish and like 3 more things I can’t remember. EVERYTHING was yummy and prepared FRESH. Coming from New York and being raised in FL I wanted something good and comforting and they didn’t disappoint and neither did those prices okay!!! Slim was the young lady servicing us and she was SO sweet and gracious! She accommodated us in several ways and I am so thankful for her hospitality. Thank you for showing us love during a sad day and filling us up with good food. Definitely coming back. These are a few pics of some of the food it was yummy! See yall soon!!!
