My husband and I went here for the first time while we were out-of-town. We very much enjoyed our waiter and would give him a solid five, he had great customer service. My husband ordered the bone-in pork ribeye, and cream potatoes and absolutely loved them. I’m not much of a pork eater, but I actually tasted one of his pork steaks and it was good. He said the pork was perfectly cooked, flavorsome, and moist. I ordered the red fish over quinoa and was very disappointed. This is not their fault, but apparently I am not a quinoa connoisseur and no matter what they did, I wouldn’t have liked it. However, I am a seafood connoisseur, and found the fish to be a three at best. I didn’t even finish it because it tasted overcooked to me and kind of tough when I was trying to get bites of it with my fork. I did have a dinner salad and would give that a 5+ and their homemade ranch dressing was delectable, I would also give that a five. We got the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer, and our favorite part was the way they had the bacon cooked around it, I think it was a maple glazed bacon. We weren’t crazy about the scallops themselves. We also ordered crabcakes and neither one of us really liked those either. I did think that they tasted better with some of the glaze that was on there, but we’ve had some good ones before and they just weren’t what we were hoping for. They comped us a dessert, which we thought was very nice.

During a day trip to Wichita on February 2026, we found ourselves at the Century II. From there, AVI Seabar and Chophouse is just a block away, and we had it marked as a restaurant to visit when we were in the area. Since it was close to Valentine's Day, the restaurant and staff had made a few changes to be ready for the increased traffic. I am not sure if reservations are required or suggested any other day of the year, but during our visit a reservation was required. I misplaced the name of our server; i can tell you that she was very attentive and cordial. This time we ordered Beau's blueberry Old fashioned and AVI Perfect Sangria for drinks, followed by a Crab cake, and Chicken Tacos for appetizer. For the main entrees we also ordered a Pan Seared Red Snapper, and a Blackened Salmon with Creamed Potatoes. and finally for dessert we had a Bailey's Creme Brulee. Everithing was delicious and the portions were adequate. We will definitely keep this restaurant on the list of restaurants to return.

We had such a great lunch at AVI Seabar & Chophouse! I ordered the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and my husband had the blackened mahi tacos and both were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. He got fries, and I had the grilled cream corn with basil, which tasted just like summer… seriously so good. We also tried the chicken salad tacos as an appetizer and loved them. Our server, Jayce, was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and definitely a spot we’ll be back to!

I was visiting from So Cal for 3 days and typically, I’m all about trying as many different places as possible! However, my 1st night here I really enjoyed the food, service and friendliness at AVI. I ended up eating here for every meal during my stay! My server, Greg was awesome!! 👏 My food was awesome and I probably tried 25% of the menu, nothing less than fantastic. Thanks guys!

What a find! Here in a work trip and walked over the bridge to find a great steak/seafood place with amazing service! Ask for Karisma and she will take the best care of you!! I had the salmon tonight, with brussel sprouts. I had a friend recommend the pork chop, so that’s for the next trip! Not a hoity toity steakhouse….good, quality food at reasonable prices. Nice wine selection too! Very impressed….i will be back soon!
