Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Omaha is probably some of the best sushi I have ever had. I am in town on business and was fortunate enough to have it recommended to me. From the moment I sat down, the service was attentive, professional, and welcoming. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared. Every roll arrived with the kind of quality and attention to detail that is becoming increasingly rare. What impressed me most was the consistency. Each item was as enjoyable as the last, making it difficult to choose a favorite. The atmosphere strikes a fine balance between upscale and comfortable, making it equally suitable for a business dinner, date night, or simply enjoying a great meal. If you find yourself in Omaha and appreciate quality sushi, Blue Sushi Sake Grill is absolutely worth a visit. I will certainly return the next time I am in town.

Loved every single thing we ordered! From cocktails to rolls- everything was delicious, but the unsung hero on the menu is the lemon miso Brussels sprouts. Perfectly cooked, flawless seasoning, and excellent to share or devour on your own. With an app, 4 rolls, and 2 cocktails split between my husband and I during the daily happy hour, it was only $70 before tip and neither of us can remember the last time we had a sushi experience THAT good and that affordable.

We came to Omaha to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided to eat for the first time at Blue. Our waitress Hailey was knowledgeable and confident about the items on the menu. She helped us choose a delicious meal! We will be back the next time we are in Omaha. We highly recommend Blue! The reason it was not 5 stars for atmosphere was due to the road construction.

I’m visiting from Nashville, and work in fine dining so there’s definitely a caveat there. However, I wouldn’t recommend this spot. The sushi was fine overall and the the prices are good. BUT the service was extremely mid. We were sat on the second floor with plenty of open tables on both floors we saw, so they weren’t insanely busy. Told the server we’d never eaten here and asked for recommendations. He basically said “I eat a lot so 4 rolls is only one serving for me” without giving any further recommendations. Everything we ordered did taste good, but was dropped off without any explanation. When my boyfriend went to the bathroom I told our server we wanted one more thing (a 2 piece salmon nigiri) and told him that it was my boyfriend’s birthday. About 30 mins later we hadn’t received the salmon yet and asked for our check instead. He brought the salmon and a dessert menu so we had to wait a bit longer until we could actually leave, all of this with empty drinks and plates filling our table. Idk. Overall it was mediocre service and I’ve had better experiences at cheaper sushi spots. (It’s not just an Omaha thing, we’ve had some great dining experiences while visiting) this place is just unnecessarily overhyped. Pretty disappointing for a birthday dinner. Don’t worry, we got ice cream down the street to celebrate :)

The food and service were excellent, but it was so incredibly loud that it was near impossible to talk and unpleasant to even be there. I think it's a combination of the building acoustics and multiple large, loud parties. It's hard to fault the restaurant directly but I would not wish to go back.
