We finally got the chance to visit Cocina Azul after talking about it for months, and it was absolutely worth the wait! We traveled all the way from Ohio and this was one of the restaurants my husband had been looking forward to trying. The food did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic New Mexico flavor. The green chile was incredible, and every dish at our table was a hit. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. As a family of six, we also appreciated the generous portions and the attention we received throughout our meal. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a true taste of New Mexico, Cocina Azul is definitely worth a visit. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back the next time we’re in Albuquerque. Highly recommend! 🌶️❤️🍽️🚗

Queso in the tortilla bowl with green chiles was excellent. My wife said they were the best chicken tacos she's ever had and the guacamole was fabulous. I wasn't sure what calabacitas were, but it turns out it was the squash soup - hearty and very flavorful. I had the brisket relleno Christmas style. The green chile and red chile topping were exactly what I expected from New Mexican cuisine. We got here really early and were able to get it. By the time we left there was a crowd waiting to get in. Service was also very helpful and patient.

We have been in Albuquerque for four nights now and three of the four nights we have ended up here for dinner since it is so outstanding! The Carne Adovada is amazing. Tonight we tried the green chili stew, which is just as outstanding. Locals visit all the time for carry out, that says alot. The team and the customer service of this restaurant is fantastic. Had to take a picture of all three of our wait staff we’ve had over the course of our three visits. Spectacular service from all of them and two of them are brothers. 😊 Don’t miss out visiting this place, we also heard that breakfast is very good. May still try to stop there before we leave town on Friday. Good drink and beer selection - also TVs if you’re interested in watching sports.

We were in town for a concert down the road. Airbnb was close as well. Met up for lunch Saturday, but it was so delicious, we came back for breakfast Sunday morning. The green chili is so good! Every single thing I tasted was absolutely amazing. Much better than the tourist food in Colorado.

A great find. We had breakfast-the huevos rancheros Christmas style was fantastic. I had eggs over medium and they were perfectly cooked. Red and green chile was exceptional. The hash browns were nice and crispy. And the service was excellent.
