U.B. Auctions 5 months agoAnton's craft kitchen. When you enter the restaurant has a very Italian feel. However , the menu doesn't look anything like your typical italian food and the music playing through the overhead speakers is french. I'd consider it a bistro. Anton himself is the cook, as well as the front man. He is very proud of his craft and is quick to share his story (he is from Galilee) and good food. One of the things I love about Anton's is that his menu isn't overly done. Many places pack so much on their menu trying to please everyone when the pleasure of food food comes in the form of good food. It isn't always about what a person likes. I like bologna, but it doesnt mean i wont enjoy a good serrono ham sandwich. Simplicity and perfection of a few things is often more delicious as was the case at Anton's. Whenever I went, I simply sat at the bar and told him to feed me like family and he did just that. I would definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are very friendly. And Anton himself is a live wire, very proud of what he does, and very happy to serve. He served me a butter garlic flatbread with a spinach and eggplant dip along with a house salad as a starter. The main course, is what he calls green olive chicken. It is sliced pieces of chicken breast cooked with green olivs and onions in delicious lemon wine sauce finished with cilantro and green olives. It has just enough spice to be spicy but not enough to be hot. Stop in and let Anton feed you like family. I give it 5 stars across the board. Was it the best food I have ever eaten? No, but it was better than most and it felt good. I will definitely return.
sanjuancb 5 months agoAbsolutely one of the best dining experiences I have had in the State of Oklahoma. It would be enough if the service was as wonderful as it was--warm, invested in the food, and committed to the diner's experience. However, the food was incredible as well and it was immediately clear it was prepared with passion. The atmosphere is particularly nice with lovely French music and comfortable lighting. I'm coming back given any opportunity to be in the vicinity. Dishes we had were eggplant spinach dip, flatbread, salad, chicken parm, and 'The Green Olives.' Each dish was better than the last!
Rachel Ofir 2 months agoThe owner is a national treasure, but with that aside and without bias the food was spectacular. He let us try the eggplant appetizer, which I normally am not of a fan of, and it defied my expectations. You can tell a lot of love is put into every dish. Expect to leave happy and stuffed.
Swashi Two 4 months agoMy husband and I absolutely loved coming here! We had the spinach and eggplant dip, peach tea, salad, steak and chicken plates, and finished it all off with their cheesecake that is made in house. It was all so refreshing and delicious! We really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere with beautiful music and fun hosts who came and checked on us. Our food was delivered quickly and drinks refilled in a timely manner. We are excited for our next trip to Anton's!
Darren Heins 3 months agoThere are restaurants where you choose your meal, and there are restaurants where the meal chooses you. Anton’s Craft Kitchen is definitively, gloriously the latter. Anton, the owner, is on the floor, at your table, and invested in your experience in a way that most restaurant owners stopped being long ago. He will guide your order. He will override your instincts when they’d lead you somewhere less than extraordinary. And he does it out of genuine love for what his kitchen produces. We surrendered the menu. Let him choose for us. It was the best decision we made. THE FOOD The Chicken Parm is the dish the kitchen was built around — hand-breaded chicken in Anton’s creamy craft sauce that is rich, precise, and unlike anything you’ve had under that name before. The plate came back spotless. Not out of politeness. Because leaving anything behind would have been a mistake. The Green Olive is the sleeper hit — sliced chicken, green olives, onions, and lemon garlic sauce that is warmer and more comforting than the name prepares you for. Savory, gently briny, deeply satisfying. Anton pairs dishes for couples deliberately, so the meals across the table match and complement each other. The contrast between the Chicken Parm and the Green Olive is not an accident — it is a decision. You taste the difference between a restaurant that thinks about your entire experience and one that just takes your order. He loves your experience as much as his food. He stresses the food will change every meal because it is homemade, and it is. Wow. The Smoked Eggplant Spinach Dip opened the meal with real intention — smoky, complex, four cheeses, served with garlic flatbread. You will want to lick the plate clean. The Fried Mozzarella is what fried mozzarella should always be and almost never is. The peach tea is exceptional in a way that a beverage has no right to be when the food is competing for your attention this hard. PEFECT! Make sure to ask for it in Anton’s way. His way is better. DESSERT Every dessert is made in-house from scratch and you taste it immediately. The Bourbon Pecan Pie has actual bourbon in it — present, warm, unapologetic — woven into a filling that is rich without being cloying, with a deeply caramelized pecan top and whipped cream that is the only accompaniment it needs. Top shelf in every sense. The Cheesecake is the real thing. Dense, genuine, not artificially sweet — a tall ivory slice on a proper graham crust with a strawberry drizzle that brightens without overwhelming. This is what cheesecake is supposed to be and rarely is anywhere else. Anton’s Craft Kitchen is the rare restaurant that exceeds every expectation you didn’t know you had. The food is cooked with care. The desserts are made with love you can actually taste. The experience from first bite to last is without a single complaint — because there isn’t one to make. Every plate came back spotless. We will be back and the hamburger is next on our hearts!
