Highly recommend. We were roadtripping and got a tip to get Oklahoma's state dish-chicken fried steak!..Here. there were a few spots noted aroundbyhe state and I cannot compare but WOW. It's huge too, so can share and get another time menu. Everything was delicious including the cocktail. The whole story and history begind the business. Location and family really just brings it altogether if you're trying to get a taste of OK and a vibe for OKC. Casual but upscale service and vibes, very clean, the perfect amount of attention and friendliness from staff where you feel cared for and welcomed but also can still enjoy the company you came with. Never once looked for staff, they had perfect timing. Answered all our questions and we got the alternate staff drop by to ensure our meal was to our liking. And we did get a carrot cake to go...as it was recommended and very hard to finish yiur plate and have dessert. Really really good food! Great service and atmosphere. Just the absolute perfect spot... leaving Oklahoma with a smile and a great dining experience! Thank you!

4.7 stars. 1st time and definitely not the last time. Business dinner with one of our key partners. Clean, well decorated, and polished staff. We were promptly seated after checking in (make sure you book reservations via OpenTable or another similar app). Started with the queso which was beautifully plated and well balanced. We went with the server’s recommendation of the chicken fried steak and the halibut. Their kitchen team was flexible and split the entrees into two so that we each could try both entrees. CFS was crispy and nicely battered. The meat portion was a tad tough but overall a good dish. The halibut was the better entree of the two and served atop risotto. Delicious! For dessert, we split the popular ice cream ball rolled in white chocolate, pistachios, pecans and covered with chocolate and caramel. Man, it was unbelievable! There is no doubt we each consumed 3K+ calories, but it sure was tasty! Definitely will be back with the wife on our next weekend getaway to OKC. Kudos to the young man who waited on us. Super service from start to finish.

Omg. We were on our way home from Kansas to Fort Worth. It’s a full days drive. So mid way we decides to eat in Oklahoma City. I googled places with good reviews. We decided on Cheever’s. They were packed and people had reservations. I did not think we were going to get to eat there. The manager was so nice and made room for us even though we did not have reservations. Our waitress was also so nice. Gave wonderful recommendations. My husband had the chicken fried steak with jalepeno gravy. I had the roasted chicken and pepper jack strudel. Both were amazing. I absolutely loved this place. Everyone was so friendly and chatted with us. Felt like we were eating with family. Then on the way out they gave us a slice of carrot cake for a snack on the way home. Who does this? What an incredible place. Can’t give it enough stars!! When we make it back to Kansas this will definitely be our midway stopping point.

We were spending 2 nights in OKC and chose to dine here for dinner one night after reading the reviews. The service was exceptional. The food was ok. We ordered a starter of the bleu cheese potato chips followed by the tortilla crusted halibut. These are dishes that sound unique and for that reason enticing. In my opinion, they don’t really work. Neither was bad, but nor did they stand out or be memorable. The tortilla “crusted” halibut was not such much crusted but rather topped with tortilla chips. It was also somewhat overcooked and the accompanying spicy shrimp risotto was overly salty. The chips were not great in my honest opinion. This is not a bad restaurant but it is expensive for the quality of the dishes. Perhaps other choices on the menu would prove better.

I’m usually not one to review but my experience was so great, I can’t pass it up this time. I don’t even know where to start. The food was beyond words!! Our waiter Kevin was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. He was just overall excellent and kind. The manager Stacy was beyond stars ratings! She creates a space rare for employees anymore. She sets the pace for her team by being a part of it. Visible and helpful and out and interacting with customers. She checked on us several times! She treated my best friend and I to a delicious dessert for my friends birthday and it was delicious! Top tier experience. The atmosphere was perfect. Clean, great smells, not too loud, and lighting was enjoyable. I really cannot say enough positive things about my new favorite place in Tulsa!
