Brewery Bhavana specializes in upscale dim sum and Belgian-style beers to go with them. You can, of course, simply order entrees from Brewery Bhavana’s menu, but their dim sum preparations are what gives them their unique, and highly praised, reputation. Approach it like tapas—choose a few options to share and order more if you’re still hungry. For my dining companions, the mooncakes—filled with beef, onions, and black pepper—were the standout dim sum dish. I loved the pepper, but they were more liquid inside than I prefer, and I lost part of the filling on its way to my mouth. Still good, though! I was enchanted with the edamame ginger dumplings, which were pan-fried and included mushrooms. After a long weekend with lots of eating out, I needed that burst of greens. I would probably not order the duck egg rolls again, as they were on the dry side, a condition that was heightened in comparison to our other dim sum options. We rounded out our meal with char siu low mein. That was my second favorite, after the edamame wontons. I loved how much choy sum was included and that they were mostly left in large pieces. The flavor was delicious, which the BBQ pork contributed to, with the hint of sweetness and smokiness that char siu brings. Three dim sum options and one noodle dish left all three of us satisfied, and not overly full. I enjoyed a half-portion of the Sprout beer, which Brewery Bhavana has dubbed a “sneaky fig dubbel." I prefer stronger fruit flavor than the Sprout provided, but I can’t knock Brewery Bhavana for crafting mellow, balanced beers that complement their food. My husband had the Bloom, a dry cardamom tripel. It was balanced and easy going down.

My family and I recently celebrated my birthday at Brewery Bhavana, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. My husband, our two young kiddos, and I absolutely devoured everything that came to the table—the food was spectacular from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and left us already planning our next visit. What truly set the evening apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. Our server, Johnny M., went above and beyond to make the night feel special. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness elevated an already incredible meal into something unforgettable. The thoughtful touches throughout the evening meant so much: a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers, two complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate my birthday, and, perhaps sweetest of all, sparkling apple cider served to my children in elegant flutes so they could join in the celebration. Seeing their faces light up was priceless. It’s moments like these that stay with you long after the meal is over. Brewery Bhavana reminded me that true hospitality is not a lost art—it’s alive and thriving. Thank you to Johnny M. and the entire team for a wonderful, delicious, and deeply memorable birthday celebration. We can’t wait to come back.

This was the first restaurant I picked right after arriving from out of state, and I decided to try it because of its Michelin recommendation. The food was as good as expected, but as someone very familiar with authentic Asian cuisine, I found it a bit underwhelming for the price point. It does capture about 75% of the original flavors, which might be reasonable for downtown pricing, but I personally wouldn’t feel the need to return. That said, the draft beer was delicious.

This restaurant and brewery are absolutely fantastic! My husband and I came here for dinner as we are in town visiting from Miami, and enjoyed every aspect of our experience. The dim sum and food was delicious, the beer was amazing, and the ambiance is absolutely beautiful! Kent our server was also great and very knowledgeable. I only wish they did beer flights so as someone visiting I could try many of their wonderful beers. The flower shop & store were super cute too. If we ever come back to Raleigh, we will definitely be back!

I went here with a friend of mine and we had a great time. Our server was very helpful and the atmosphere was perfect. We shared a handful of plates and sipped on some of the local beers and cocktails. The chicken curry bar bun and pork belly rice cakes really stood out. I even told my friend that I would fly back to Raleigh just to take my husband out to dinner here!
