Came to Rita’s on the Riverwalk with my coworkers to celebrate a coworker’s birthday and had such a great experience! I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were honestly amazing — super flavorful and fresh. We sat at the bar and Anahí took care of us all night. I also had a strawberry margarita mocktail which was soo delicious 🤤 She was fantastic, quick, attentive, and made sure we always had what we needed without us ever having to ask. Anahi was helped by Jocelyn, Jessica, and Alex and they too were sooo helpful!! Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service. Definitely recommend if you’re spending time on the Riverwalk!

Very pleased with our meals. The Rita’s original enchiladas were delicious and served with rice and beans. We got the appetizer of salsa and chips and the salsa was very good. Obed who was our waiter was great has got refills when needed and was friendly. In fact all employees were friendly, the manager stopped at the table to check on things and I observed the bus boys interacting with people and were very pleasant. Very good spot and has 10% discount for military.

I had enchiladas Verdes. It was a little bit salty but good. I would like more rice with that if ever but it's okay. The best here for me is the ambiance. The colorful decoration, lights hanging in the ceiling, music in the background give a festive and warm feeling. I tried a lil bit of their steak Fajitas, it was presently good and tender. I like how it was in a sizzling plate

We had tacos and drinks for lunch. Pretty pricey and service was slow. The El Jefe margarita was good. We got talked into one of the 21 ounce margarita specials which wasn’t bad but wasn’t worth $21 even keeping the glass. They make their own corn tortillas but they are thick with an odd texture that we didn’t care for. The meat was good. No complimentary chips and salsa for the table which was disappointing. The best thing they had going for them was the location and there are so many better options on the river I suggest skipping this one - it was just meh and way too pricey.

We celebrated our mentee's Air National Guard graduation from Lackland BMT with a lunch at Rita's, and it was a memorable occasion. Our waiter was attentive and steered us toward the beef skirt steak fajitas, which are apparently a house specialty. My wife and I ordered the chicken and beef enchiladas respectively, and we swapped one of each to compare — I personally preferred the chicken enchilada, but both were delicious. Our mentee enjoyed a bottled Coke, my wife and I shared both the lemonade and iced tea throughout the meal, and I also had a Starry to myself. The staff was very accommodating, moving our table near the roped-off edge overlooking the Riverwalk so we could enjoy the river and watch people strolling by. Portions were generous. It's definitely on the pricier side — honestly quite a lot — but for a special occasion in a setting like that, it felt worth it. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience. Highly recommend for a celebration or when you're bringing visitors to San Antonio.
