Absolutely amazing dinner experience! The view is spectacular and the restaurant’s atmosphere is the best in all of Raleigh in my opinion. Our waiter (Tim) was so knowledgeable on the menu and had helpful suggestions. The food and drinks were delicious. The pasta and bread tasted like food I had in Italy! It was very authentic and quality ingredients.. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed the service here. Our waiter was super attentive, helpful, and kind, and the staff made us feel welcomed the whole time. The atmosphere was also beautiful, with a really nice view. The food was a little inconsistent for me. The Greek salad and calamari were both really tasty, and the mango sorbet was delicious. However, the bread service was not my favorite because it was very salty, and the oil did not have the best flavor. I think a softer bread with olive oil and balsamic would have been better. For entrees, I had the ravioli, but the noodles were hard and the sauce tasted a little flat. We also tried the lasagna, which my partner liked, but I felt it lacked seasoning. The manager was very accommodating and insisted on fixing the dish, which I really appreciated. I substituted it for the lamb, and the lamb itself was cooked perfectly, although the sauce was very wine-heavy. I did make a reservation and noted that it was for a birthday, so I was a little confused that nothing was mentioned or done for it. Maybe they ask for their own planning purposes, but it did not seem like anything special was included. Overall, this is a nice restaurant with great service, polite staff, and a beautiful atmosphere. I just expected more from the food based on the reviews and social media posts. I left a little disappointed and still somewhat hungry, but I would not change anything about the service. The people were genuinely wonderful.

Arriving the host stand was bit chaotic multiple employees hanging out talking vs being checked in as priority. Celebrated a birthday & wanted to sit outside but they only had room for table of 4 not 2 so we were denied and had sit inside but we're given a beautiful view by window. Our waiter Taft was amazing very friendly & attentive and answered all our menu questions. We did have a issue getting our food out first before drinks from the bar ever arrived. Food was delicious fresh bread - was giving foccotia salty and savory. Buratta salad was "ok" seemed to be over worked as it was not creamy more like motz ball. Octopus was amazing as well as the veal shank fork tender and fell off the bone. Our 2nd drink never arrived from the bar despite ordering it when meal arrived. Will definitely go back but gotta get the bar situation fixed !!

As a wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to capture a wedding at La Terrazza and it was such an incredible experience. The space is intimate, elegant, and full of charm—perfect for couples wanting something a little more personal and meaningful. And the food truly lives up to the hype. Every detail, from presentation to taste, was so thoughtfully done, and you can tell how much care goes into the entire dining experience. The atmosphere, the service, and the overall flow of the day made everything feel seamless. It’s a beautiful venue for a wedding and an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

If you’re friends with me, there’s a very high probability I’ve already dragged you to La Terrazza Rooftop Restaurant & Sky Bar at least once to “watch the sunset.” 😄 At this point, my friends probably need therapy from hearing me say, “LOOK AT THE SKY!” every 14 seconds while I take entirely too many sunset photos for Facebook that everyone pretends annoy them… yet somehow they still keep coming with me anyway. 😂 But honestly? This place is worth it. The rooftop views are absolutely breathtaking, especially as the sun starts going down and the city lights begin to come alive. It’s one of those places where you suddenly stop talking for a second because the sky looks completely fake. I personally prefer sitting outside because the sunsets are unreal, but inside is beautiful too. The whole place has such a sexy, modern vibe without feeling stuffy or pretentious. One of my favorite things is when bands are playing nearby because you can hear the music drifting through the city, so it almost feels like you’re getting a free rooftop concert without having to fight traffic or pay for tickets. 😄 And thankfully, the food actually lives up to the view because sometimes rooftop places survive entirely on “look at the skyline!” while serving disappointing food. 😂 Not here. The pasta dishes are excellent, the pizza is great, the cocktails are fun, and overall it’s just one of those places that feels like a little escape from reality for a couple hours. It’s the perfect spot to grab drinks, catch up with friends, people-watch, stare dramatically into the skyline like you’re in a movie, and pretend your life is more glamorous than it actually is. The atmosphere alone keeps me coming back, and yes — every single time I’m in Raleigh, I will absolutely make a trip back here for another sunset. 🌅 And yes… I will continue posting sunset pictures from here regardless of public opinion. 😂
